Quack Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Sincerely hope that Rovers do not have the usual keystone cop performance against of the bottom 3, 3-1 to Rovers.
b12_simon Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Watford on a crap run and (l'Arse aside) we're on a great one. Normally this would have me predicting a Watford win but not this time. 0 - 3 to the good guys (and could've been 6 but for some dodgy offside decisions! ). Simon
Ricky Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 i'm always worried about games like this. lets not make it a hat trick of away defeats to the bottom three.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 The results have been poor for Watford recently but with one or two exceptions performances have been good, they seem to play well for 80 minutes then fall apart at the death. I'm expecting a harder game than the one last Saturday, we'll have to guard against the usual complacency.Whilst I'm not Robbie's biggest admirer as a footballer he brings a sense of urgency to the captaincy, I'm expecting a point at least tomorrow.
Gav Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Decided to drive down for this one, God knows why Went to Birmingham last season and got turned over, we always get turned over at struggling clubs away from home. Lets hope we manage a 1-0 win and the 3hr drive back will be a happy one.
roversmum Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 And in his interview on Rovers World after the City match, Robbie made it plain that he is aware of the importance of tomorrow's match after the poor performances against West Ham and Charlton. He didn't like us losing against those teams at all.
92er Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I'm really looking forward to this game now. I'd love to see both Dunn and Warnock makes appearances. I'm sure it said on Radio Lancs that Warnock would not be involved.
mac Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Just got coach tickets and will be paying on the door tomorrow http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lat...~953777,00.html No tickets on sale the day of the game
AlamoRover Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 How bad is the Ooijer loss to this match? Not that Lucas was playing the back thirty yards anyway, but are we weakened enough in the back to let the hornets in? Several times?
Jordan Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Looking forward to this one. Arrive in Watford at 14:45 so I imagine that we will end up in Weatherspoons. Are many people on the 10:20 back up to Manchester? Should be a comfortable win. I am going for another 3-0 Bentley, McCarthy and Derbyshire.
Gav Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lat...~953777,00.html No tickets on sale the day of the game Rang the club today, cash at the turnstiles.
Mike Graham Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 well suprise suprise I have a meeting in London on Wednesday morning so I have to go to Watford for the game i'm taking 3 work colleagues; one from Blackpool,; one from Workington; and one from Whitehaven. They should get some real culture being exposed to the Rovers fans hope it's better than the garbage I suffered at charlton and west ham 3-v-0 to Rovers
OhmiBRFC Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lat...~953777,00.html No tickets on sale the day of the game Rang ticket office today and cash only
daren Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Warnock signed too late to play for this game.... not sure if Dunny will play, I suppose it depends wihat the physio's say (he's just off his recovery regime after the operation, I seem to recall hearing) although I'd like it. I reckon this one's will be a win for the Rovers. Sparky's broken the Euro hoodoo, so perhaps the "expected to win" one will go too! I'll say 4-0 to Rovers, with 2 from Benni, 1 from Pedersen and one from Matty
Mr. E Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 No Warnock, and once again no Dunn...what's going on ? I thought he was "as fit as ever" ?
Bobby G Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Not match fit according to Hughes. But fit in general. Big difference! I think he will be involved in the Reserves game tomorrow and then in the FA Cup match at the weekend.
Gav Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Bloody Cold !! Especially in Feniscowles this morning
HertsRover Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Weather report anyone? Cloudy but bright, freekin freezin. Dont think its gonna rain but we did have some snow yesterday. Didnt settle so no worries there. See you all in the weatherspoons
mac Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Especially in Feniscowles this morning Not wrong !! temp thingy in the car said -2.5 !!!
AggyBlue Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 No Warnock, and once again no Dunn...what's going on ? No need. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Watford 0 : 2 Rovers Plus two offside goals for Benni.
Nayef Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 I'm a bit confused. Haven't read thru the whole of this thread but would appreciate if someone can answer this question: If I go to the stadium tonight straight from work, will I be able to purchase a ticket at the stadium? official stance is no but I gather this isn't true? If I can buy on today, is there a chance away tickets will be completely sold out by 6:30pm (time I reckon I can get into watford)? Thanks folks.
