MarkBRFC Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 If anybody who hasnt got a ticket and is tempted to make the trip down tomorrow The official site is reporting that tickets are available on the door.
CircoW Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Anyone else in the lower tier tomorrow, or am I on my own!?! I'd be delighted with a draw tomorrow. Depends on who is fit in midfield though - we need Tugay back.
joey_big_nose Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 some people are mentioning Dunn to play - is he fit now? The squad isn't up on the bbc yet, but I hope so. If he is not fit to start I would play Bentley in the middle 3 of a 451 and either Gally or Emerton on the right.
Mr. E Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 I would love it if we could get a result, absolutely love it...but I don't see how it will happen. Chelsea will be very determined and we don't have the aggression to fight them off.
Jimmy Jupiter Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Our only hope of getting anything is to pack the midfield in a 4-5-1 and maybe nick something from a set-piece. Who knows maybe Mokoena will be the star of the show. Unfortunately I think it's a case of how many we'll lose by rather than if we lose.
CircoW Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Tugay's in the squad, Henchoz doubtful, no Dunn yet. http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/New...~972831,00.html
Quack Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 I would be elated with a point, realistically an easy Chelsea win 3-1 for them with a reply by Benni, who then snubs a bid from Jose at 11pm to join the russian revolution.
SAS Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 i think anyone would take a draw how come henchoz is a doubt
jim mk2 Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Rovers are 9-1 to win tomorrow night ; worth backing and good odds for a form team but Rovers night matches in London do not a good mixture make. 3-1 Chelsea.
CircoW Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 i think anyone would take a draw how come henchoz is a doubt Got a knock on his ankle apparently
Jordan Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 Where is everyone drinking before the game tomorrow? Should be in the Slug and Lettuice which is just outside Fulham Broadway station from 2pm. No dount I will be a little tipsy by kick off!
John Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 How far away the ground (walking distance) from Fulham Broadway station? Was thinking of just drinking in one of bars around the stadium pre-match....
shooter Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 4 - 3 rovers memories of united a year ago, Chelsea's defence to be embarrassed! No Neill now so i don't fear giving away cheap penalties and going down to 10 against the big teams! we've a great run in so can see us going out firing no fear against Chelsea! Warnock to win over any lingering Konchesky loving fools with man of the match performance. Historic night in store c'mon rovers!!!!!!!
Jordan Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 How far away the ground (walking distance) from Fulham Broadway station? Was thinking of just drinking in one of bars around the stadium pre-match.... About 2 minutes. Its the nearest underground from the ground.

AggyBlue Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Chelski 2 : 3 Rovers We'll be hanging on at the end
philipl Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I have enjoyed reading the pre-match press this morning. I think Hughes has got it absolutely right by talking about ending Chelsea's hopes of retaining the title tonight. It will add just a bit more pressure and self-doubt into what is looking a slightly wobbly outfit at the Bridge. Benni's interview comparing Hughes favourably with Mourinho is very nice. Chelski know they are not the only players with a Special One in the dugout!
Eddie Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Well folks, I've put some money on us to win tonight as I felt the odds were too good to turn down, so expect a defeat.
ricsipontaz Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 My tip is 1:0 to Rovers. Pedersen will score a big goal. And after this goal, Rovers will defense all Chelsea attacks.
James No. 7 Posted January 31, 2007 Author Posted January 31, 2007 I already have the idea for the Seventh Incarnation of Jose Mourinho if we win. And I'm actually feeling more and more confident as the match comes closer and closer. Come on you Rovers!
