Ewood Spark Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Yeah im from Luton, Its a horrible place there nothing good about it really! Town centre is crap, nightlife is pretty much fancy a ruck then you got one! and the ground is the pits especially the toilets! They got a whole stand of excutive boxes and when the sun is out they cant see nothing! its hilarious! The ground only holds about 10,000 now and its in the middle of bury park which is better known as pakistan, when your walking to the ground you can smell the curry! its amazing! and im not joking! lol Are you Theno in disguise? I really feel sorry for people who have no pride in their home town.

blue phil Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 It seems Luton is a bit similar to Blackburn ....rough and gone downhill quickly . I wonder what the common factor is ...?

blue phil Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 It's getting a bit too philosophical over there these days , ES
USABlue Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 It seems Luton is a bit similar to Blackburn ....rough and gone downhill quickly . I wonder what the common factor is ...? Not sure I know what you are angling at,

Paul Mellelieu Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 You need to see a therapsit BP. You're behaviour is obsessive suggesting some kind of mental health problem. Oh and racist of course.
squaylor Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 I read in the paper yesterday that Rovers haven't lost an away FA Cup tie to lower league opposition since 1968. Really can't see it happening today, I think we'll go through 0-2. I'll be crossing all my fingers though.
Ozz Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Will we play in red? What price will the tickets be for the likely replay? How much would you be prepard to pay? Will it be free for season ticket holders?
Daremz Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Yes! Another match I can see on the BBC. A win is crucial, because it's going to take VERY long before we snatch a win in the Premier League...so enjoy this last win in a long, long time....GO Rovers!
Esulx Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Samba must have got international clearance as he's on the bench. Nelsen starts too. Friedel, Zurab, Nelsen, Henchoz, Warnock, Emerton, Bentley, Axe (oh dear), Pedersen, Mccarthy, Derbs. Bench: Encks, Nonda, Gally, Jeffers, Samba
cn_barlow Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 disappointed that there's no Peter, seems to have drifted off the scene a bit recently. Nice attacking bench though...not that we have any defenders/midfielders to put on there!!
Bobby G Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Good to see Warnock getting a chance early on and hopefully a good game from him. At the same time, great to see The Admiral back where he belongs. I hope he quickly gets back to the pace and form of last season. Lets see how Zurab performs at right back though I prefer him in the middle. Hopefully Samba will get a few minutes too. Good lineup. Strong enough.
Derby Blue Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Whys that? Surely it would be either the 6th/7th of Feb? Anyway i can see a replay here with us battering them but only coming away with a 1-1 draw. 6th/7th Feb is an international fixture - England playing Spain. Most replays are scheduled for 13/14 feb but since we have a UEFA game the only way we can fit it in is by playing it on the Saturday. Hopefully won't come to that though. 2-0 Rovers, Derbyshire, MGP
Derbyshire Blue Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 As I sit here in my German apartment looking forward to a Rovers victory…..just wondering when did Gabbi join the BBC 3:1 Rovers
Jan Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Well Life is funny I forgot that we had a game today and decided I needed to get away for some sun. The last time I was here (South Africa) we were on TV live and we won (and the game went on very late). We're on again. Here's hoping for the same result! Of course there's an interview with Benni on later! Ryan is captain! Samba is f'ing HUGE!!!!
pg Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 I thought you were going to the game? BTW who is the female compere on BBC 1?
Jan Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 I thought you were going to the game? BTW who is the female compere on BBC 1? I forgot. Lee hadn't "FA cup" on the site for today so I thought we had a free weekend.!!!! And it was cold on Monday so I decided to go away. And handily it has decided to rain JUST as the game started D'oh Nelsen looks tentative
USABlue Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Ryan starts as Captain WHOO HOOO, just hope he's not being rushed back too soon.
Derby Blue Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 I know Gabby Logan had a few 'differences' at ITV but hadn't realised she had moved to the beeb. Unless I've just missed that one somewhere. Makes a nice change from Gary.
DP Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 He's quick, has a good first touch, can time his run and knows where the goal is. Sure he doesn't have the strength yet but what is he 19/20?
