roversmum Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 I saw that earlier, but I couldn't find where it said what the actual concessions are. Don't know if it is just under 16's, 18's or students or exactly what they have in place. See what you mean, Eddie, but I think it's only Seniors, Disabled and Juniors that are counted as concessions there. You'll have to phone to check.
Hasta Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Definately no Henry in either the first XI or on the bench for the Arse tonight. No Fabregas either. Come on the trotters (that feels strange!)
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Arsenal and Bolton are looking decent so far, I think we'll get ripped to shreds on Saturday, regardless of who we are playing 1-0 Arsenal after some quality build up play
Presty On Tour Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 certainly does, tired legs. happy days.
Mr. E Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 extra-time, perfect. hopefully it will reach to penalties with bolton winning, and giving us more of a chance on saturday.
Hasta Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 After tonights tired showing by Rovers I wouldnt fancy us against either of these. however I'd definately rather take on the one-dimensional trotter game than that of the Arses. Come on Notlob.
Finch Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 I am sure I will be ill on a Saturday soon but I will try and continue until work say I need to work when there is a game on. Thats right, Boxing day 2000. What caused you to miss that particular game?
John Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 Arsenal just scored to make it 2-1.... I am seriously dreading the game on Saturday - come on Bolton..
Finch Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 it doesnt matter who wins. We arent getting though this round either way. After our previous visit to the Emirates I dont fancy another trip in a hurry
brfcjon Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 I am amazed by the young talent everytime I see Arsenal. I know a lot of the members on this board dislike Arsenal, but have always quite like them. And watching a game like this seeing young players given a chance and take it like Denilson has (quite a few times now) makes me a happy football fan. I mean the lad is 18 and got so much skill and football smarts its unbelievable. I do fear they will rip us apart come saturday if we play like we did against leverkusen. Leverkusen just walked right through aur midfield creating deep pass after deep pass. Exactly what Arsenal do best.... Ah well, well just turn on the bully boys style...
Presty On Tour Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 3-1 and comic capers all round. arsenal away with henry and co rested!!!
tchocky Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 There it is. Sorry travellers that you have to make the trip to London. As for the opposition I guess we have to beat anyone put in front of us if we want to win the cup. Besides I'd rather be knocked out by Arsenal away in the 5th round than in the semi..
Greenall_David Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 I really hope we can get through this round fa cup causes shock and this may eb a shock!! I m goign up to watch the boys in the 5th round
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 3-1 Arsenal, full time Emirates it is
Exiled_Rover Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 We're fcuked either way, we have no midfield. The rest of the season is going to be a struggle if we're honest, just far too lightweight in the tackle.
Hasta Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 IMO in current circumstances , if we won on Saturday it would be the biggest cup shock I can recall us pulling off in my lifetime (29) and I havent forgotten winning at Liverpool a few years back.
Blueboy Downunder Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 although we are not out because the game hasn't even been played yet, it does seem like this is gonna be very very tough for the lads to overcome. i think we have to hope that they become utterly complacent and we pull off the biggest rovers cup shock since we won at liverpool, back in 2000...i was there and a repeat of that night on this coming saturday would do me just fine.
