An injury time free kick by Morten Gamst Pedersen gave Rovers maximum points from a dire game that neither team came away from with credit.

Pedersen had headed home a Bret Emerton right wing cross at the at the far post to give Rovers the lead against the run of play, however within 3 minutes former Rovers striker Jon Stead equalised for Sheffield.

With the clock ticking down, David Dunn making his debut, won a free-kick and Pedersen sent a spectacular curling shot into the top corner of the net, to send Rovers fans ecstatic after an afternoon lacking any entertainment.
