I'd echo that statement. Mokoena continues to improve and showed some nice touches and passes, even did the odd little bit of skill.

I couldn't believe my eyes when Mokoena did a cruyff turn....another great game for the AXE!

Also impressed with Chrissy Samba, very composed on the ball!

World class strike by Benni....his celebration when he went up to the bench suggested he was bitter about being a sub!

Two bits of quality won it for us; Dunn's pass on the turn and then Benni after that. Our substitutions changed the game I thought. Dunn was playing 30 yards further up than had Tugs and Benni found space Noonda didn't look for.

Man of the match for me was Samba, closely followed by t'Axe and Brad.

What a fantastic result, and a cracking goal from Benni.

But we really rode our luck tonight against a far from full strength Arsenal - another day we'd have been three down at half time and finished with 9 men. And Rovers gave a fine display of how to give the ball away in midfield. Nevertheless, there was plenty to be positive about, and I think the second half substitutions made all the difference.

I was impressed by Samba and Nelsen's work.

Nice one Rovers. Happy 40th for me tomorrow!

14k???? it was well packed on bbe,jack walker steel,although riversiders must have been on the night shift ..there seemed a lot more than 18k on

Debatable! The first one he kicked one leg into Friedel and went down. The second one was a foul but was outside the box. If it had been given and we'd seen it again on telly, we'd be a bit unhappy about it!

fantastic noise from the BBE; but sorry, from the JW upper the BBE lower only looked 60% to 70% full, and the BBE Upper was only 20% full (empty?).

The fans however were fantastic; just imagine what it would have been like if we scored against the Germans last wek.

The first wasn't a penalty for me and the second was outside of the box (just), although at first I feared the worst. We were certainly very lucky, but we've had a host of bad decisions this season so we shouldn't feel too bad when a couple go our way.

Just got home now...here are a few of my oservations....

Samba and Mokoena were both immense tonight in my opinion!! The axe is really benefitting from an extended run in the team.

Pedersens final product was terrible...why the hell does he take corners?!

Graham Poll is a terrible referee!!!

poll was biased to us...tugs should have walked..dunny should of got straight red....blame wenger hahahaaha..injuries and suspensions were too much.....bring steve bould back...Very tired of teams like Blackburn getting away with a win, just because refs are reluctant to use the second yellow. It’s about simple calculation, for Blackburn 3-5 yellow cards for a win (by disrupting our game) is still a good pay off.........coaches didnt teach them how to shoot...benni is to good for us....a poor blackburn side....lack of leadership.....buy eto

Holy crap that was awesome! Emerton attempted to rape Ljunberg but considering the amount of decisions that went against us in the past it's even now. Bring on Man City then hopefully we're off to Cardiff and then Wembley! Hopefully
