I'm thinking of trading in my Xbox for a 360. I just need to know can I still play my original Xbox games on the newer console?

This site should help you buddy-but I think that the majority of Xbox games are playable on the 360.

A good number are, at least probably the ones that you want. All you have to do is get hooked up to xbox live and it should install the updates when you put the game in.

You do. Without the hdd you can't save the upgrades for the games.

I misread that as an High def add on instead of hard disc.

Bear in mind, that if you are using VGA to connect to your TV/monitor 'some' Xbox games won't run, namely Halo 2 and Fable. I think this is to do with some games being locked in 50 hz and VGA being 60hz only or summit.
