American Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Tugay with one of his usual saunterings off of the pitch after being subbed. I love it.

Esulx Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 I'm not counting my chickens until Mike Dean blows for full-time!!! I'm a bundle of nerves!!! If I could reach, I'd chew my toe nails off too!!! yuk!! Maybe not. 86 mins: City are playing five men up front now yet Blackburn still look relatively comfortable and almost break clear themselves before Dunne nips in ahead of Roberts.
blue/white Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Some might say Dean's blown for the whole 90 minutes, uh?
Esulx Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Good shout. He's certainly done that. How many extra minutes?? 87 mins: A great tackle from Samba rescues Blackburn after Samaras and Richards link up well inside the Rovers area. Vassell could have been clean on goal or winning a penalty if the challenge hadn't been timed correctly.
Daremz Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Exitement. All for now from Holland. When is the draw for the semi's?
squaylor Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 2-0! Great Stuff! The only team in the next round - and our 3rd semi-final in three years. Well done Rovers
American Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Where are the semis being played?
James No. 7 Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Emerton is the sponsor's man of the match. And 2-0! Hahahahahaha. Peter to Derbyshire.
Daremz Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Hahahaha. Monkeys escaped! Help! LOL. 6 letters L O S E R S
blue/white Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 So, who's next: Plymouth or the not so killer bees of Watford???
spanishblue Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Watching the match on Sky here in Spain. Brilliant job lads, just seen a female Citeh in tears and shouting obscene things to the Rovers fans, what a shame. NOT Come on you blues
vyeo Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Wonderful assist from peter. We thought he'd disappeared from the scene, but what vision. i know i would have smashed that if it were me. Good performance, and i felt again, we didnt need to go into top gear. We could play better than that, but who cares. We're the first team through! Only negative is that nelsen has got injured again. Hope a week's rest will be good enough. Roll on monday, and i'm still sticking to my prediction. Its either man u or chelsea for us. Hey wait, they're still not through!
Kai Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Great result! Not used to being the favourites and actually living up to expectations. Whatever next? We might even beat a bottom 3 side at some point!
Mr. E Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 WE"RE THROUGH !!!!!!!!! Fantastic job Rovers, another hard-battling display and well-deserved win. The referee was a moron, flinging his card everywhere like an idiot. The sending off to Moko especially was one of the most laughable ones I've ever seen. But regardless of him and all the injuries, WE'RE IN THE SEMIS !!! Wembley is nearing :)
Blueboy Downunder Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 all in the space of 4 seconds i hurt my throat, the dog ###### herself and i woke the neighbours!!!!!!!!!!! get in matty d, and great work by benni and sergio too!!!! wooooohooooo :rover:

Yeah, great vision from Peter. I would have expected him to blast a shot to Row Z, but he showed composure and vision to square the ball to Derbyshire to seal the win! Well done! ROVERS!!
USABlue Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Good win we're in the semis. Ref was a plomker red for that no way then he let's Barton stay on. Flashing cards like crazy then had a period in the second half where he let everything go then started again. City looked quite dirty to me following through on every challenge, arms elbow, 3 handballs they go away with well maybe two. City fans really let their players have it the picture of the girl crying in the stands made me a bit sad but man did they let 'em have it, your not fit to wear the shirt, ouch. Where's the semis at, no doubt we will get the least convenient. Boro or UnitedvArgyle or Watford at Villa Park and Us v Spurs or Chelsea at the emirates. Exciting stuff this, one win away.
USABlue Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Tugay shows the back of his heels to two Citizens in a brilliant manouvre. Blackburn End sing "Tugay! Tugay! Tugay! Tugay!" Showed the back of one of 'em to Barton, Barton pulled another stunt like he did Mendez with.
LeChuck Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 just seen a female Citeh in tears and shouting obscene things to the Rovers fans She was screaming at the Man City players, one of the chants was "you're not fit to wear the shirt". Brilliant result today, I was worried after the first 20 minutes when we never really turned up but we strolled through after that, although we didn't really create much. Samba was immense again, Bentley and Warnock were very good too. Nice to see how composed Peter was for Derbyshire's goal. Mokoena was very stupid though, he was having a half-decent game until then but the bookins were ridiculous. He shouldn't fly into tackles like he did on the first when it's their half of the pitch, and tugging someone down like he did for the second whilst on a booking was brainless. Still, it's an improvement on what he was offering when he first started filling in for Savage..
Guest shoppybrfc Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Positives: Brett, Warnock and Samba, Peters pass, MGP would have gone for personal glory instead. Citys strikers are probably the worst in the league, how on earth did Vassell ever amount a fair amount of england caps. Negaties: MGP back to the Mgp of old and Derbyshire was crap all game to be fair, apart from the tap in, he needs to be dropped for the next game, he gets bundled off the ball easily and does not have a very good first touch.
Finch Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Have a feeling we will get Man utd in the semis and we wont beat them.
