I knew we'd win as I watched Celtic bombard Rangers goal for the whole first half of the match, only for Ehiogu!!!!!??!! to score with an overhead kick. The gods of sport just couldn't be so cruel that Rangers would beat Celtic, England would beat France at Rugby, England would beat Scotland at women's football AND Citeh would beat Rovers. And I was right.

Saw all bar the last 10 minutes of Celtic v Rangers and all bar 5 minutes of the second half of Rovers v Citeh (flippin' roadworks or would have got there earlier!)

Surely Utd Rovers would be at Eastlands, approx half way between the two clubs fanbase?

Surely Villa Park is halfway for Rovers and ManUre's fanbase in Reading/Oxford/Surrey/etc ;)

Great result today, bizarre refereeing, but we're in the semi!

We're in the semi!

You should see the smile on my face right now! :D

I didn't see the game but this is clearly a massive result for us. With any luck we'll get Watford in the semis (please, please, please, please).

You look at 7000+ citeh fans at ewood today who don't get anywhere near the success we have at ewood, yet you wonder just what the Blackburn public need to actually fill the bloody ground  only down side.

Another 100,000 residents?

Couldn't hear any singing after full time thanks to that crappy music :(

The chav in white who shuffled across to the BBE was pure comedy, "You fat Bas*ard" :D

The FA will no doubt have the balls in the microwave for tomorrow, well lets face it, we are gonna have to play Manu or Chelsea at some point (assuming they get through)

:D

Bloody shame they haven't got their own balls in the microwave. Cheating barstewards!

This Proud old club just keeps motoring on!!!

:rover::brfc::rover:

PLEASE let our semi-final be either at OT or Villa park.I agree with you Mike, 4,000 empty seats?.... an area nearly equivalent to the lower tier of the BBE?

There were alot of empty seat in the Blackburn End Upper Tier and quite a few in the CIS Stand near the big screen, but nowhere near around 4,000 empty seats

Actually that was what I was thinking in response to the post above yours.

AS far as I can see if you have anything below an IQ of 50 Citeh is a good group, like the opposite of Mensa.

Still on a high!

my sister`s lad is a city fan so I feel for him but City were rubbish today. Still hurt over Joe Royle`s team beating Rovers to gain promotion in 2000 so today was really sweet. Def going to semis at Villa Park.

I don't think anyone has mentioned the Bentley chip, so close but i bet if it went in the Media wouldn't talk about it as much as they did about Rooney vs Portsmouth at Old Trafford.

Would have been a great goal, Weaver just stood there and watched it sail over his head. If it had gone in, I would have had at least half the finger nails on my left hand left. Metaphysically speaking...

Surprised no one has mentioned the appalling behaviour by around 20 Rovers fans in the bottom corner of the BBE. The stewards were escorting out a Rovers fan, the one Tugay had insisted the stewards shepherd to the BBE, only for the stewards to be set on by around 20 chavs. Utter scum. Glad to see the whole thing was caught on video, with luck they will be prosecuted and excluded from Ewood for life. Completely took the edge off my afternoon. I hope the club get every single one of them, disgusted by this behaviour by people who purport to support Blackburn Rovers.

It would have been 2000 only for the bleedin' seats.

'Completely took the edge off my afternoon.' - That's just petty, we've just reached the FA cup semi final for gods sake

I am not condoning the behavior of the guilty parties, but I think the pitch invaders along with a few scuffles on the pitch influenced, the easily influenced. It seemed to get nasty pretty quickly, both on and off the pitch. I didn't see what happened in the BBE, even tough I was in the BBE upper. All I saw was the steward in a suit, run over to the 2nd streaker . Hmm are you talking about after the final whistle Paul? We left pretty sharpish 1 or 2 minutes after the final whistle, due to us wanting to get out of there before Citeh got out and my other half needed the toilet and pestering me!

So it's mob rule.

Whilst the stewards didnt help with their, "More than my jobs worth attitude" after Tugay, from his jestures, had told them to let the lad back into the BBE, the behaviour of the mob was totally out of order.
