Correct but imo I would be 99% certain that.....

1. I know that I wouldn't want my daughter coming home with one.

2. I certainly wouldn't want my son going to matches with them.

3. I would not want to socialise with them in either a social, domestic or work environment.

Thats just for starters and if they are in the 1% then it's my loss and I can quite easily live with it.

that's a fair comment and i would agree with your first point 101%

if we were face to face I'd either agree, laugh or knock your teeth down your throat and that would be for you to judge.

For all you berate them, it seems you're quite capable of dropping down to their level and using your fists to settle an arguement, as I suspect are most of the 'stone throwers' and 'mud slingers'

:tu: Short simple and to the point :tu:

Is it? Well then bblue you need to view the full context of that post and without the selective editing of Aggyblue ......

............................................................................................................................................................

QUOTE(jim mk2 @ Dec 10 2006, 22:43 )

So you don't mind being called an ignorant, loud-mouthed, opinionated, overbearing, white supremacist then ?

Or is it the white that causes you such a problem ?

............................................................................................................................................................

Quote (thenodrog).....

'Loud-mouthed'? How can anybody be deemed 'loud-mouthed' on here? It's a bloody message board you thick sod!

But all those attempted insults are in your opinion only and should be taken as such, if we were face to face I'd either agree, laugh or knock your teeth down your throat and that would be for you to judge. However I am a white person, it is an unequivocal fact so why should I feel insulted by that? Surely John even you are not so stupid that you cannot see that?

............................................................................................................................................................

Different slant now or what bblue?

You may well be right Aggy, however the vast majority of us manage to avoid stooping to that level. Judging by how willing some of those involved were to pile in, i;d suspect they chose not to avoid that on a regular basis. I always enjoy it when people start to defend the indefensible and start to twist the argument in order to do so. Instead people rightly criticising a bunch of loons, many of whom had been causing mither all day, becomes a bunch of saints who never drink, fight, swear or anything and are preaching to masses.

:rover: all i can say is the eldest lad from rishton is a top bloke, seems to me very petty following this across countries when the german police and rovers stewards just stood back and let it happen.how many would have been involved IF it was nipped in the bud when the 1st punch was thrown. :brfc:

A very sensible and pertinent question Waggy. It should have been nipped in the bud before it could even get started. What is the point of having police or stewards at matches if they are just going to stand and watch as a shindig starts. They should move in fast and STOP it.

Police and stewards were in a total no-win situation.

Suppose they had rushed in like a bunch of storm troopers when the first fists flew, these pages would be full of allegations of German over-reaction and heavy handedness.

Problems of language would be compounded by these immature individuals' inability to handle German alcohol.

The fault is entirely that of the people fighting. Hopefully the people banned are the ones who were fighting and that next time we are in Europe the people about whom a lot of complaints were made on these boards not only in Leverkusen will not be around to sully Rovers' reputation or ruin the pleasure for the majority of Rovers fans.

I think the point was where is the logic in having significant numbers of police/stewards if they are just going to stand and watch?

To maintain segregation between home and away fans of course. Even the German police could be excused for overlooking the possibility the capability of our knuckle draggers to fight amongst themselves. How often have you seen away fans scrapping between themselves?

First Le saux and Batty and now this! What impression must johnny foreigner have of Blackburn?

It's called Damage Limitation.

When there's a small number you allow the hot heads to kick six bells of #### out of themselves. Intervention by the stewards/police only incites the crowd, whose first reaction is to go on the offensive against authority figures. You only have to look at the reaction of certain elements of the BBE last season when the stewards tried to escort away a fan who had run on the pitch.
