Does anyone know why it won't let me sign any guests into play on xbox live? Everytime I do it says that the profile must be signed in and is not using a valid profile which is very strange considering that xbox live guest is one of the options that they give;

Sign in your own profile to live.

Sign in your guest (non-live)

Load your game

Go to the game and load up both players

Exact details depends on game you are playing.

You should note that guests cannot play ranked matches.

You will be limited to "player" matches.

Also note that your guest can get a free 1-month trial on live-gold and there is no limit to the amount of new accounts you can open via your console!

Well i have created a number of accounts and you get one month free on gold.

However you don't have to do that, just get a new tag created on your console (not joined to XBOXlive) then join in a new game online as guest of a XBOXlive account holder on the same console - works for GRAW / GOW. Unless both have gold account cant play ranked.

Oh and name will appear as XBOXlive ACCOUNTNAME2.
