Blackburn police have been told the semi will be at old trafford but sat/sun has not yet been decided.

My Dad said the very same yesterday. A Blackburn copper he knows said the FA wants it to be at OT. The only reason I can think of for delay is if United get knocked out and then it would probably Boro/Watford at OT and us at Villa Park.

Can't tell if Jordan is being very clever and on a wind up or very stupid!!! <_<

You can't be the first person to wander that :P

Oo Tris is handing out free lifts :tu:

If we get to the final he'll be handing out free beer, in a west London party situation ...

So a careful reading of these posts reveals that the semi -final will DEFINITELY ( please note spelling dear readers!) be at The Emirates or Villa Park or Old Trafford!

The final should be at Wembley. Yesterday there was an "event" for 40,000 people in the stadium, next Saturday 60,000 will be at the England U-21. These events are part of Wembley being issued with a safety certificate in time for the Cup Final.

Hopefully the lifts etc will be working by then.

Don't know if people realise or not ( think somebody dropped it in once) there is no car parking on match days

Exactly my thinking - and the reason they haven't announced it is that our game will be on the Sunday again if UTD get knocked out - VP - because big club at home on the Saturday.

If Spurs win tonight they also play on the Thursday night in the UEFA Cup. Arent City at home on the Saturday as well?

Which will be moved to the Sunday no doubt I presume -but Citeh might kick up a fuss as they are due to play Arsenal on the following Tuesday as well.

Incidentally - Chelski and MU are due to be playing each other that weekend as well.

Doubt it'll bother him as they are out :rover:

I know Arsenal are out, mate, and guess who it was that knocked them out. B) .We are good, aren't we.. :P

We will find out who our next opponents are tonight.Spurs v Chelsea live on the BBC( I think). The 'Boro v Manc game is definitley on sky.

I still think that Rovers best performance in the cup,so far,was the 0-0 draw at the Emirates, the win at Ewood was just icing on the cake.

Yes. I was there. Rather bracing afternoon up on the hills in Accy.

The first half was poor, both teams were nervous but I think Rovers had the edge. We fully expected them to be able to take advantage of the heavy wind in the second half.

Both teams came out charged up for the second half, Rovers missed several good chances (where have I heard that before?) and Charlton ended up winning by one goal.

The Charlton Ladies were more (shall we say) muscular and obviously more experienced but we have one or two good pacy players who gave them a game.

Rovers 0 - 1 Charlton.
