frosty Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 So who do we want to win tonight? I'm torn. Middlesbrough, and probably Spurs.

RovertheHill Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Middlesbrough, and probably Spurs. I'm not sure - I think Spurs may be a tougher proposition than Chelsea, and may want the FA cup more?
MarkBRFC Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I'm not sure - I think Spurs may be a tougher proposition than Chelsea, and may want the FA cup more? No, give me Spurs any day, i think they can be vunerable at the back. I dont think we have come close to scoring in our 3 meetings with Chelsea this season.
Neil Weaver Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I'm torn. You're Ms Imbruglia? That puts things in a whole new light [Leslie Phillips mode on] ding dong [/Leslie Phillips mode off]
philipl Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Mancs v Boro... it will be the Mancs, no point even fantasising otherwise. Spurs v Chelsea... Spurs please. That would set up a nice 50/50 semi-final. Both sides would be up for it but Spurs are not very good defensively and before the Devine Webb show, our defense had conceded once in five or six games. I would marginally back the Spurs squad against our's but I would back Sparky against Jol by some distance. Chelsea would be a case of playing a team in Premiership-winning form (only the Mancs are starting 6 points ahead and playing as well) plus the officials.
ewoodblue Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I think Man United will win tonight, I just think 'Boro had their chance in the first game.I hope I'm wrong, because I've love to see Man United go out,but in the other replay, I think Spurs are capable of causing an upset ,and beating Chelsea. The biggest mistake in the first game was substituting Berbatov for Mido.Until then ,I think Spurs were controlling the game.If Berbatov's playing tonight, then he could be a handful for Chelsea, the guy is class, then again , so is Drogba.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Spurs to cause an upset tonight! Dont really know who I want Rovers to face though....Chelsea do look a poor side at the moment.
Pugg Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Spurs to cause an upset tonight! Dont really know who I want Rovers to face though....Chelsea do look a poor side at the moment. It's weird my head is saying Spurs, but my gut tells me we have more chance against Chelsea...yes I know it doesn't make sense I just think Berbatov, Lennon and Keane are on fire, but their defence has been terrible. Maybe with our defence we could deal with them. I just have a bad feeling if we get Spurs. *shrugs*
Claytons Left Boot Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Both games will go to form - Man Utd and Chelsea to go through. Boro have little chance, so I take Utd to win relatively easily. You have got to take your chance against Chelsea when you have it - you don't normally get two, so it's Chelsea to progress.
Timmy Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 nor fused between spurs and chelsea, however please be OT on the saturday please
John Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Not sure because was not listening properly but I am sure they just said on Sky, if Man Utd go through they will play on the Saturday.
laughatthedingles Posted March 19, 2007 Author Posted March 19, 2007 Century FM said that the winners of the manure game tonight will play Watford at Villa Park on Saturday with a 5.30pm kick off time, so looks like Old Trafford on the sunday at 12pm!!
Tris Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Mark Hughes is the guest in the BBC Match of the Day studio tonight, hopefully he's prepared a speech about Mr Divine for half time ...
Flopsy Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I stayed at my friends house in Bristol, so cost for the game was a tenner in petrol, about £10 for the Stuwilky Magical Mystery Tour and whatever the price for the ticket was. Unfortunately my missus came down to Bristol with me so I had to subsidise her trip to Ikea. Which was nice
Jimmy Jupiter Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Can't see spurs coming back into their game now, Chelsea have scored a couple of crackers in 5 or so minutes, 2-0 at the mo.
Tris Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Motty thinks us v Chelsea will be at Old Trafford. Mind you, he's been talking rubbish for 75 minutes, so probably best to ignore him.
Ste B Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Venue will be announced tomorrow. Its already been decided.
Shabani Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Motty thinks us v Chelsea will be at Old Trafford. lol @ Orvil, he'll be sat in the Emirates on his bill
Ste B Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 lol @ Orvil, he'll be sat in the Emirates on his bill With Waggy..
Grabbi Graeme Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 2-1 to Chelski and some idiot on the pitch at the end trying to get to the Chelsea players
RovertheHill Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Idiot fan throws a punch at Lampard, misses, and gets the sh1t kicked out of him by assorted stewards, Drogba and Cole! Can see Spurs getting into serious trouble for that!
jim mk2 Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 NEWSFLASH........................ The Press Association tonight reported that Manchester United will play Watford at Old Trafford and Chelsea will meet Blackburn Rovers at Stamford Bridge just to make sure that the FA gets the dream final it wants.
Jordan Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 lol @ Orvil, he'll be sat in the Emirates on his bill FFS Cheers Waggy, last time I trust you for information!!!!
AggyBlue Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I noticed the Chelski players celebrated like they'd won the cup. In the words of Kevin Keegan 'I'd love it if we beat them'. Cocky batsards.
