mike at picture Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Ah, only problem with the tram is I live Bury side! Sounds like Lowry is best place to park How about an Altrincham tram from the Interchange with a "refreshment" stop in the City? That would certainly float my boat!

yorkblues Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Red has been a very lucky shirt this season for us. Wore for wins at Bolton, Man City, Wigan, Reading, Everton (FA Cup), Luton (FA Cup) Krakow. In fact we have won every FA cup match this season in which we played in red. from my seat in poland we had blue and white on
USABlue Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Until the City game Matty D had not scored in the B&W halves, all of his goals came in the red away shirt.
Ricky Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Also booked in the travel lodge at manchester central Stu, I'm sure we can keep the bar open for a while. managed about 5.30 am with paal and eric last time.
CAPT KAYOS Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I'll more than likely be training it it from Wigan to MCR VIC if anybody else is unless I can sort a lift from some generous family member(or decide to drive) from and to Ladywell.
booth Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Me, my Dad and my sis will be travelling by coach. Can't wait to be honest, glad it's not at the Millenium stadium
Roar of the Rover Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I thought we had the Stretford End? And we have to wear our red kit? not happy , we were draw first out of the hat and should have the Stretford End or get to wear our Blue and White halves.
RovertheHill Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 How about an Altrincham tram from the Interchange with a "refreshment" stop in the City? That would certainly float my boat! I think I've pulled...
mike at picture Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I think I've pulled... Back to yours for a coffee?
stuwilky Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Also booked in the travel lodge at manchester central Stu, I'm sure we can keep the bar open for a while. managed about 5.30 am with paal and eric last time. Are you bringing your car
Ianrally Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Can't wait for the big day. Playing in red, no problem for me . When we get to the final there will be no colour clash with either Manure or hopefully Watford so we will be wearing the famous halves at the most famous football ground in the world in the most famous cup competition in the world. It is written in the stars. I can see it all unfolding as I write this. Come on you Blues (or Reds) All we need now is for Howard Webb to be named as the Ref to go and spoil it all for us.
RovertheHill Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 All we need now is for Howard Webb to be named as the Ref to go and spoil it all for us. That's not funny
frosty Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 from my seat in poland we had blue and white on You are correct, we did wear our halves in Krakow.
Fife Rover Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 That's not funny No, but it's highly bloody likely!
ad0102 Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 The spurs game on the monday prior to the semi final has now been moved giving a full week for us to rest up. It is now played on Thursday 10 May (will be on sky sports)
Tris Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Also booked in the travel lodge at manchester central Stu, I'm sure we can keep the bar open for a while. managed about 5.30 am with paal and eric last time. We're in the Ancoats one. It's loads better in there ...
Jordan Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 that hotel is quite nice, 24 hour bar with decent prices. £2.50 for a pint of lager, £2 for a Bells whiskey You got space on your floor mate??? Got the Monday off work so planning on staying in Manchester on Sunday night?
stuwilky Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Ancoats still has rooms available (but devalued as Ive just found out who is staying there!) We're in the Ancoats one. It's loads better in there ... Co-incidence? Anyway, Manchester Central is where its at anyway. So there.
only2garners Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 The spurs game on the monday prior to the semi final has now been moved giving a full week for us to rest up. It is now played on Thursday 10 May (will be on sky sports) Presumably more because they have UEFA matches on the Thursdays before and after the original date, but it will suit us.
Tris Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Co-incidence? Anyway, Manchester Central is where its at anyway. So there. Ancoats is 4 minutes closer to Piccadilly. As my train back down south to work is at 7am on Monday, I'm going to need those 4 minutes.
Ricky Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 There's a cracking kebab house jsut round the corner from Ancoats. Manchester Central was closer to Deansgate and Im guessing I'll end up somewhere around there on Sunday. Stu, yes the car will be making a trip to Manchester.
ABBEY Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 i hope there are consessions for the kids . I dont care if we play in blue, red or the dodgy colorodo kit as long as we win. the train beckons..are they every hour?
pksrover Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 You got space on your floor mate??? Got the Monday off work so planning on staying in Manchester on Sunday night? yep, no problem There's a cracking kebab house jsut round the corner from Ancoats. Manchester Central was closer to Deansgate and Im guessing I'll end up somewhere around there on Sunday. Stu, yes the car will be making a trip to Manchester. ooh, I'm looking forward to see that car
