ABBEY Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 You tell the poor lad you miserable tight arse! haha have you been talking to my g/f hahahaha she calls me that
Claytons Left Boot Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 I might go for the £45 tickets this time. The £35 ones in the top tier look to be the same as for the past semi-finals there. In the game when McEveley marked Beckham out of the match I was on the back row of the top tier and it was not good. It was like Newcastle except that you couldnt see anything that went higher than the crossbar at the opposite end as the roof come down and blocked your view. Me too for the £45 tickets. I have twice been on the next to the back row of the Stretford End Upper whilst watching Grand Finals. It was like looking down on little Ants. Similar at Newcastle, although then it's like looking down on little Ant & Decs. Arf arf! Seriously, you don't want to be near to the back of the Upper Tiers.
Fife Rover Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 4pm Yes 4pm is right but only if you are in the UK. The questioner lives in California and needs to know if it is GMT or BST we are quoting so that he can do the sums. Does anybody know whether or not the clocks will have gone forward 1 hr by the 15th of April? My guess is: Yes; but could be wrong. Anyone know for sure? 4pm BST = 3pm GMT.
only2garners Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Does anyone know what time kick off is? Kick off is 4.00 p.m. UK time, which will be 8.00 a.m. in California. I was in San Diego this time last year and saw the matches away at Spurs and home to Middlesboro at the Shakespeare pub. It was a bit bizarre having breakfast in the sun and watching Rovers live from 6.000 miles away.

BRFC4EVA Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Isn't California 8 hours behind us? How does 4pm minus the 8 hours not equal 8am as he has said?

Tris Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Yes 4pm is right but only if you are in the UK. Although Fife, if you read the questioners previous posts, you'll realise he's due to be on a transatlantic flight back to the states when the game kicks off, having sucessfully missed all the Rovers matches he flew over to see in the first place (Spurs having been moved etc). So he probably wants the BST KO time so he can miss his flight home and go to the game.
Roost Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 and burnley is 15 years behind and they are on the same time zone as preston now thats funny!!

Matt, seeing as the greater Orlando area is the new Benidorm for Brits you won't have any problems finding places or people to watch with. Look at the Fox Soccer Channel Good Pub Guide for locations in and around Orlando that will definitely have the game on. Just remember that a 4pm UK Summertime kick off will be 11am Orlando time.

LeftWinger Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Nice, would hate to be right at the top of the North Stand. As would I - looks weird with the roof hanging down. Great idea that for showing the views of the pitch before you buy a ticket.

I'm thinking "Season Ticket Holders plus 1" means I can get one for myself and another for a non-STH mate. Is this right? Edit: This is the case - full details here
