only2garners Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Anyone going down early on Thursday to queue? No - I'll be forming an orderly queue of 1 to buy my 5 season tickets worth online.
Atomicrover Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 So i'm a season ticket holder right, so when i go on Phase 2 can i only buy an extra ticket for another person only if he's a member? or can they both buy them? When I rang the office, we had the same discussion. We agreed that the comma after "....+ 1", meant that it separated it from what came after, therefore Phase 2 was collectively to accommodate for STH + 1 AND ALSO Members AND ALSO et al...
Spansterkid Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Why is everyone so worried about tickets. It's not like we're gonna sell out. Or is it????
philipl Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Why is everyone so worried about tickets. It's not like we're gonna sell out. Or is it???? Because this is a Blackburn Rovers message board. We are worried about - selling our best players - players walking out on us - players not trying - players playing too prettily - forwards only scoring one goal every 2.5 games - the defence conceding 3 goals in the last 6 matches - the Riverside - not selling tickets - too many people wanting tickets - 1960 Cup final - vinjay - - add your own

SAS Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 its pretty much a very important home game with increased ticket prices
Mike Graham Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Anyone going down early on Thursday to queue? why?
Saltysellars Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Lads and lasses, Not wanting to pre- empt any bad luck or anything but............... I've been chewing on this one for a few days, and am struggling for five players who I think would step up and take a penalty against Petr Cech, should it come to no winner in 120 mins of football on April 15th. Now I'm sure that Hughsey won't leave any stone unturned when it comes to preparing for the game, so there will be five (or more) if needed So who do you think will have the bottle and step up to the plate? I could only come up with three definites, and then I was struggling. Here's my five to start it off. 1) Benny 2) Dunny (providing he's lasted the 90 mins and extra time) 3) Warnock 4) Nelsen (Can't see him trying to place it deftly into the corner) Whack it son!! 5) AN other (HELP)
Cocker Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Ped? Bentley? Sav - if fit? Toogs? Nonda? Derbs? Is that enough?

broadsword Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 It could be possibly anyone, if they were still on the pitch. Hope this helps.
Mark Atkins' Bald Patch Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Lads and lasses, 1) Benny 2) Dunny (providing he's lasted the 90 mins and extra time) 3) Warnock 4) Nelsen (Can't see him trying to place it deftly into the corner) Whack it son!! 5) AN other (HELP) 1) Benny 2) Bentley (in form and ultra confident) 3) Dunn 4) Gamst 5) Tugay/Warnock Then Samba to win it in sudden death!!!
modes98 Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I think i would put brad in my first 5, by all accounts he is a good penalty taker. 1. Benni 2. Nonda/Roberts/Derbs (on the condition they hit it straight down the middle) 3. Dunn 4. MGP 5. Brad
OJRovers Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Does anyone know why there is a £4 charge for the postage - seems a bit steep? Someone else mentioned it - the best seats seem to be the ones behind the goal, which is handy as they are the cheapest. Not bad really £25 for a semi final.
cravenblue Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 on a different subject does anyone know if there are likely to be more trains running from blackburn/ darwen to manchester? probably the easiest and most atmospheric way to getn there

Try reading the announcement on the official site: - For security purposes, apart from personal applications at the counter, all tickets purchased will be sent by Special Delivery and there will be an administration charge of £4per application (not per ticket) to cover the cost of this. Each to their own on seats - for me the seats at the bottom behind the goal would be the last ones I'd want.
Roost Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 on a different subject does anyone know if there are likely to be more trains running from blackburn/ darwen to manchester? probably the easiest and most atmospheric way to getn there I doubt it to be honest. One things for sure - there will be a convoy of minibuses leaving the Knowles Arms at 2pm
cravenblue Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 you can just see national rail just putting the usual one carriage train on that sunday.
Hannah Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I posted my application form today! I am neither a season ticket holder or a member but I do have quite a good buying history. My biggest fear is that I end up with a ticket in the very top tier - i'm not particularly fond of heights! I am really excited about the game. It falls nicely within my Easter holiday so can combine it with having my washing done at home!!!!
pksrover Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I think i would put brad in my first 5, by all accounts he is a good penalty taker. 1. Benni 2. Nonda/Roberts/Derbs (on the condition they hit it straight down the middle) 3. Dunn 4. MGP 5. Brad I would pick 1. Benni 2. MGP 3. Derbyshire 4. Bentley 5. Dunn sudden death takers might be: Emerton, Warnock and Tugay
Roar of the Rover Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I would pick: 1. Benni - scored 2 vs Bolton lately 2. Nonda - scored at the Emirates but missed home vs Portsmouth 3. Pedersen - he's got a sweet left foot and a right to be honest 4. Bentley- very confident at the moment 5. Emerton - ???????????? Not sure about Tugay because i remembeer him skying one well over the bar vs Bournemouth in the Carling Cup
Roar of the Rover Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 This things really getting to me!! I'm a Season Ticket Holder and i'm only allowed to buy 1 ticket for myself during Phase 1, but my mates want to sit with me and they are non Season Ticket Holders, so when i go during Phase 2 to buy tickets for them, there will be no chance that we will be next to each other right??
