CAPT KAYOS Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 sorry should have read 17,000 each dont forget 16,000 tickets are for the fa and other organisations I thought that had now been kiboshed by the FA and that most tickets would be going for sale to the fans - especially for the Semis? On another note - not seen anything anywhere but my Brother in Law said a S/T holder at MU who he works with, has said they had only been allocated with 13-14k tickets fopr their semi due to their persistent standing at games. If this is correct (although on first hearing most would say serves themselves right and would probably raise a majority of laughs as its MU) I don't think this is right.
Martin Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Whilst I think it's overly optimistic to suggest we might sell out I would love it, love it if we sold more tickets than them!!!

For the semi our allocation is 30,800 Chelsea's is 31,600 - leaving 14000 for the FA For the final Im led to believe the allocation for the clubs is a combined 50,000 - leaving 40,000 for the "football family" And your mate is passing on porky pies - their allocation is circa 18k for the semi, identical to Watfords allocation...
KingCrip Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Quite hacked off that tickets are going on sale at midnight via the web, if I knew this was the case I would'nt have sent a bloody form in. I thought they'd be on sale at the same time Thursday morning, thats why I applied via the post due to not having internet access at work. Hope this dont mean that all the £25 seats now get sold by tomorrow morning!

Just a thought - would it be worthwhile buying your tickets tonight online then when they process your ticket application forms in the morning they would see that you already have bought some and not process your forms? Or email them to let them know you have bought online. Bit risky maybe though. Also, having seen the Chelsea and Watfords websites on arrangements for the ticket sales, none of them have a form to fill in like we've had to. Not sure how thats supposed to work unless all ticket sales are done for ST holders and members only.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Wonder if Rovers fans are queueing now? Just waiting for the ticket web site to go into melt down at 00:01 tonight .......

We are talking about rovers here!!
KingCrip Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 It would appear tickets are on sale on the site now, but when you try and get the £25 I get this message "We're sorry, but no seats are available in this area. Please select another area." All other areas appear to be available though. Hopefully this means the postal applications have been processed!

Paul Mellelieu Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Ticket booked. £59. Bloody hell. Can't face another 90 miuntes behind the goal though. Except for Saturday that is....
Grabbi Graeme Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 I filled out the form and handed it back in and the guy behind the window at the ticket office seemed surprised that I had only wanted the £25 tickets , I told him I wasn't prepared to pay £35 for my son so if I don't get the £25 tickets then I dont want to go.

Yeh its a pity concessions are only available in the £25 area which is why I've bought them. Seems like the greedy FA want to maximise income.
Glenn Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Well that's mine sorted. No idea how the hell they're gonna work out who is supposed to be sitting together when you can only buy one ticket per account. How many of you noticed you were buying a half season ticket .... nice bit of cutting and pasting that one rovers It was odd that if you clicked £25 it says non available. Click it again and there are ! Well iffy system that doesn't inspire me with confidence, but as long as my tickets arrive I don't care.
Glenn Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Also, I know it's not Rovers fault. But I feel kinda guilty getting two adult tickets in the £25 area when a concession could miss out. But they're not just the cheapest seats, they're the best ones !
Modi Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Tickets booked in the £45 section. Weird lay-out on the on-line booking, and as Glenn says, nice to see it's half season tickets!
OJRovers Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Online form not working now - well I can't get it to work
ABBEY Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 me neither ..ah well .queuing up in the rain is what its all about..hope theres some 25 quid s left or else if theres no concessions left may well just tell the fa to stick it up there arse tbh.
ABBEY Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 offski in five minutes when ive finished me brew...any ideas what the queues are like??
SuperStella Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Rang them, was in queue for 4 mins then they answered. 6 x bottom tier ones, £25 Didnt base this on price of ticket- they are just the best ones. I want to be in the bottom tier behind the goal, like I am at every home game.
OJRovers Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 ABBEY when you're down there, tell them that neither the phone nor online system are working!!
