dring1 Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 You might struggle to park in Bury Town Centre even on a Sunday. Radcliffe Metrolink is attached to a huge free car park. i am from radcliffe and you have no trouble getting to old trafford if you get an altringham tram its coming out and queing at old trafford or you can use the eccles line and get back at exchange stop

only2garners Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 Paul, Old Trafford station is on the Bury - Altricham line. Going either way, I'd guess it'll take at least 20 mins queueing before you can get on a tram. Exchange Quay is on the Piccadilly - Eccles line. I've never used that after the game but I would think for trams into Manc it won't be much different than Old Trafford station. So only2garners suggestion looks good to me. There's certainly no queue when going towards Eccles from Exchange Quay after the game - I've done it a few times now. There doesn't seem to be a problem going into Manchester from there either. To make sure of getting on quickly you could walk a bit further up to Salford Quays station and come back.
waggy Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 we waited till yesterday,so we could get tickets together, season and non-season ticket holders,we were allowed 6 tickets per season ticket, and we got the cheapest
SAS Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Cost £1.30 return adults and 70p (I think) for concessions. dont be silly you dont pay
daveoftherovers Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Another route I've seen used is train to Deansgate station and opposite is the tram station straight to the Redsox Stadium.
stuwilky Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Another route I've seen used is train to Deansgate station and opposite is the tram station straight to the Redsox Stadium. It gets ridiculous as yiou get close to a match. Ive often jumped in a cap from there though.
SAS Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 ive emailed northern rail again after saturdays problems at darwen train station
rover_groo Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Yes miles out! Plus that's rubbish about the £45 ones as we bought a good few of them days ago. There will be 20000 plus i'm sure of that. Yeah, I can imagine that you are very correct with your statement Mancs. The £25 band tickets are selling well and I believe that all concessions have been sold out. However, the £45 have been in a relative high demand. I should think that we should achieve 25,000 fans for the semi. What else do the fans want? Two years ago it was a 12:00pm kick-off in Cardiff. Now we on a 4:00pm kick-off about 40 mile away from the venue. Suppose their waiting for Rovers to announce 25% reduction in them about 5 days before the game!!! Do the club some justice and sell out our allocation and give the respect to JW et all. Onwards and Upwards!

Manchester Blue Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 It gets ridiculous as yiou get close to a match. Ive often jumped in a cap from there though. Is this a magic cap? How many people can fit in it?
Ozz Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I went to Ewood TO on Sunday around 1.30pm, there was not one person queuing. I wanted to sit in the botton part of the upper tier East Stand, but ended up getting front block of the North Stand Hope there is a little more leg room than Saturdays seats.

Barry Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I've trawled through here for any comment about the canal barge from The Mark Addy pub adjacent to Salford Crescent directly to OT, but couldn't find the details I was after. Can anyone help? I've been in touch to try to book, but apparently Paul from Leyland has made a private reservation. Anyone know Paul? And anyone know if Paul from Leyland might be interested in filling any spaces? Advertised in tonites Lancashire Telegraph - Tel 0871 423 5057

Jan Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Just found out that as yet the lower tier of the £55 tickets aren't on sale. Mine is right there for seats when it is. (Vertigo) So we aren't too close to selling out as yet!
