[Archived] F.a. Cup Semi Finals

Just found out that as yet the lower tier of the £55 tickets aren't on sale. Mine is right there for seats when it is. (Vertigo) So we aren't too close to selling out as yet!

They are in the stand opposite to the dug outs - mine is in block N1406.

Has anyone who ordered their tickets online received their's yet? I ordered mine on Thursday like 5 mins after they came on sale and haven't received it yet. I know its only been 3/4days but for the £4 admin fee i'd expect them in my hand by now.

I've trawled through here for any comment about the canal barge from The Mark Addy pub adjacent to Salford Crescent directly to OT, but couldn't find the details I was after. Can anyone help?

I've been in touch to try to book, but apparently Paul from Leyland has made a private reservation. Anyone know Paul? And anyone know if Paul from Leyland might be interested in filling any spaces?

Try

City Centre Cruisers

Boat trips from Castlefield Basin. Tel: 0161-902 0222

They are on the Bridgewater as opposed to the Manchester Ship Canal.

I ordered online and used credit card, but the transaction hasn't appeared (ie they havent taken any money yet). I did receive the confirmation email though.

Is anyone else in the same boat? A bit worrying since it may be too late to do anything if there's a problem.

Similar situation. I sent over a fax last Thursday on the official form with credit card details for 2 X £55 tickets. To date no response from the club and neither has my credit card been charged. If only the club had announced properly that more than 1 ticket for season ticket holders could have been ordered on-line at Stage 1. I could easily apply now on-line but not too keen on paying a total of £228, and possibly receiving 4 tickets. Trying to ring through to confirm today was out of the question. 15 minutes on the telephone to be advised the lines were very busy and to call back later !!

I only hope they have actually recived my fax but it is just a tad frustrating, not actually knowing

I think I read somewhere on the application form that there would be a special range of merch in the red colour available from the club shop from 31st march. Has anyone seen it? Anything decent?

Tom Finn stated at the Fans' Forum on 19th March that they had ordered a range of special merchandise for the semi-final, although there were no details of exactly what.

On the boat trip it's highly unlikely that any trip runs from the Mark Addy as it's on the River Irwell and from there you would have to come up through Hulme lock which is very little used to get on to the Bridgewater canal. Much more likely to run from Castlefield.

I started a thread on that but it got no replies. Well......not any useful ones.

For those worried about tickets being mailed out I ordered on Friday and again on Sunday. On both occassions I was told tickets would not be mailed until today, Tuesday. My guess is all the priority has gone on selling, delivery will be as the sales quieten down.

The MV Princess Catherine sails to every Man Utd home game from the Mark Addy. For the semi final we have chartered the boat exclusively for Rovers fans. Can be booked by calling 0871 423 5057

I had to put in the form as I would be away on business. I haven't heard from the Club, and to be fair, I haven't rung them but I checked my CC account today and the £104 ( 4 x £25 +£4) has been deducted so I ASSUME I got my tickets!

I've just ordered my coach travel for the semi-final over the phone, does the club normally post the tickets out for this or do i have to collect them from the ticket office? Only asking as i normally pay for my ticket travel when down the club shop and get the tickets at the same time, but i'm home from university and cannot pick it up before the game.
