ace Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 sorry if this has been mentioned before (i`ve not read entire thread) but is the ticket office open today (good friday)?? Ticket office open till 5.30 today according to my application form!
b12_simon Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I would say that £35 is an ok price for a SF ticket - and it's actually cheap for the Chelsea fans! I think that some Chelsea fans might buy a ticket and not travel just so they have a better chance of getting Wembley tickets IF they win. It's also worth noting that £35 is less than you'd have paid to watch (among others) Everton from the Blackburn End this season.
Manchester Blue Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Booked with the away travel this morning on coach No 41! Did you find out what time the coaches were setting off? It's an option for my Dad if he doesn't fancy the train so said i'd check. cheers
mjs Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I recall it has already been mentioned, but the trains between Preston and Manchester on the 15th are being replaced by buses in both directions. Which really is a bummer. Northern Rail Track mending page The effin rail service in this country is an effin joke!!
philipl Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 18,300 sold by yesterday according to the official site.
roversmum Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 The effin rail service in this country is an effin joke!! no doubt the Rovers ticket office will get the blame........................
ABBEY Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 just to add my two penneth... The FA are a disgrase for not giving consessions in all areas and the people who are moaning at people moaning at the lack of them need a dose of reality.NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD TOP WHACK PRICES FOR KIDS .my mate for one has 2 kids and was taking them both if if he could get concessions and he said he hasnt got nearly 100 quid spare as hes in the same boat as me and gives a huge wedge to the csa ,he a s a mortgage and bills etec. Not everyone is minted and it annoys me when people pop at the folk who CANT afford it.Would you take kids to the pics if it was full price for them or on holidays etc. I got mine at 25 and a kids one ,i would have paid 35 for him but if they had a gone i wouldnt have paid it.If wazza is right in that the cheapest wembley tickets are 65 for the final then im afraid, the bills, the ex wife and csa win and i wont be going final or no final they can shove it up there arses. were deciding tomm where and when which train to catch and whether to taxi it insteadof tramming it.
trs Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 The effin rail service in this country is an effin joke!! We could do the 9.42am "bus" chorley to Bolton and the 10.25 train Bolton to Deansgate.
Paul Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 18,300 sold by yesterday according to the official site. At the TO an hour ago and a steady, but small, flow of people. I'm told all £25 sold, £35 sold out except for singles, £45 and £55 ae selling well. 20,000 sold.
roversmum Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Good news, Paul. Abbey, you are absolutely right, but have you emailed/written/called the FA in the same way you have written on here? (not aimed at you) but I'm SO fed up with all the moaners here who come on here and make me feel guilty for poor attendances, high prices, the ticket office not sending 20,000 tickets out by post on the first day of selling etc etc. This is a very special occasion. I am so sorry for those who genuinely cannot afford to go but please don't spoil it for me, no doubt the referee and assistants will manage to do that! Let's go, sing our hearts out and make the lads proud to play for our beloved Blackburn Rovers.
mjs Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 We could do the 9.42am "bus" chorley to Bolton and the 10.25 train Bolton to Deansgate. I can't find a 9.42 train. According to National Rail website there is a bus at 9.51 straight through to Piccadilly, or bus to Bolton then train to Victoria.
SuperStella Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Just been looking at the OT seating chart; looks like I've quite decent seats.... http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/seatingchart/147846/10230 I'm in block E233, Row 12.
Ozz Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Chorley/ Aggy/ Euxton people, what about commissioning a minibus?
Guest fernhurstblue Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Chorley/ Aggy/ Euxton people, what about commissioning a minibus? i think the south lancs branch are running a bus
SuperStella Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Whats this about the police ringing all coach firms telling them not to set off before 1pm from Blackburn so they can go to a meeting point on the motorway before an escort to OT........ Grrrrrr
stuwilky Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Whats this about the police ringing all coach firms telling them not to set off before 1pm from Blackburn so they can go to a meeting point on the motorway before an escort to OT........ Grrrrrr Common practice, I had the same when I did Bristol to Cardiff 2 years ago.
trs Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 i think the south lancs branch are running a bus Going to late for the likes of us I'm afraid. Cheers though!

SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Did you find out what time the coaches were setting off? It's an option for my Dad if he doesn't fancy the train so said i'd check. cheers 1:00pm from t' Darren end.
Mike Graham Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 At 12 noon today (I went because my tickets had failed to arrive after 9 days) the Ticket Office said that 22,500 tickets sold to date. FANTASTIC
Glenn Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Hum. I shouldn't have decided to get my tickets online when I saw how shoddy the online order system was. I should have smelled a rat when my tickets didn't arrive at the same time. I shouldn't have believed that an email sent within minutes of ordering the tickets pointing out that there was no obvious way to ask for tickets together, so I thought I'd let them know it was important to me, would have been read and acted on (especially when I didn't get a reply). So why am I surprised when my second ticket arrived this morning and I find I'm sat one row and 14 seats away from my wife.
