Coin Hendry playing away (in a non-playing at Highfield Road on Saturday sense)? Some women have odd tastes. Fancy going for the missin member of Status Quo.

Do you mean that RICH and FAMOUS (in a way) "missin member of Status Quo" Billy?

Nothing odd about that.

I think that according to RFW's autobiography he had met Shearer for talks a couple of days before Shearer signed for Newcastle. RFW stated that he thought he'd convinced Shearer to join them but, after speaking to Keegan again, Shearer chose his home town club. (Can anyone with the book confirm this?) Either way, grave doubts are cast as to whether Shearer only left Rovers and Jack in order to fulfill a boyhood dream. Why then talk to Man U?

Still, Shearer wasnt an Aussie with a silly goatie was he.

The same book gives away what I think was the real reason behind Shearer not going to United - RFW wouldn't agree to letting him take the penalties. AS was always one for the record books rather than a few medals.

Similar 'greedy when their bellies are full' scenario being played out at Chelsea with there centre half. Times change but human nature never will.

Giving money to footballers is like making a bonfire, the more you chuck at it the faster it burns yet it's still burnt out in the morning.

Do these events relate to Hendry's pasty arse not being the only thing he couldn't keep in his trousers?

At least...those were the rumours <_<

Apparently only rumours FLB, only rumours ;)

Still, one of the best stories of this kind was that Kevin davies didn't have tonsilitis during the 1st season here, but had an infection of a more personal nature. Of course this is just a story.

.... apparently after a visit to Peppermint Place

Negative reading that.

But

It appears that gollum in his wisdom is attempting to build a team of has beens. To sell the Boleyn Ground possibly even though it's in a poor area and hopefully to asset strip the arses off those cockney gits. Next LUFC... bring it on!

Personally I thought Neill would go to the mags 18 months ago. Stephen Carr is the worst right full back in the top two divisions.

Nice to see Barca are still interested despite competition from MU and Chelsea...... or was that stuff simply written by Neills agent.... again?
