Roost Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 I also think 1-2 to the Rovers, with Samba the Mamba using Ferdinand as a battering ram to drive through and score with a majestic overhead kick..................... honest, I have seen it already. Or have I been watching too much 'heroes'
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Manyoo 3 (Solskjaer, Carrick, Rio) Rovers 1 (Friedel off a goal kick) We will lose
pksrover Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Man Utd 1 - 2 Rovers .................. Dunn 23 .................. Benni 68 Solskjaer 84 c'mon Rovers!
Jammy Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 At work in Manchester getting stick off the Utd scum already, so come on Rovers stick it up em 1-0 will do! PS After months of whinging by Utd fans that they get charged full whack at every ground they go to, according to this link (posted on the semi-final topic) Click here! equivalent seat only £30 compared to the £36 we have been charged!
Cocker Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Manyoo 3 (Saha, Carrick, Rio) Rovers 1 (Friedel off a goal kick) We will lose I would be impressed if Saha scored as he is out?
Paul Mellelieu Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Well spotted Jammy. An email is on its way.
Billy Castell Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 3-0 Man United. One of the goals will involve Ronaldo diving for a free kick or penalty.
RevidgeBlue Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I would quite fancy us to win again today at OT subject to the performance of the officials. Will they have the bottle to countenance a Man Ure defeat (at home) at this very advanced stage of the Championship race? Quite hopeful of a 1-0 win with even handed officiating. Man Ure haven't been in particularly good form recently, Bolton apart. But we may have to win by three to win by one.

budha Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 MAN UTD: van der Sar, Heinze, Ferdinand, Brown, Ronaldo, Rooney, Giggs, Park, Vidic, Carrick, Scholes. Subs: Kuszczak (GK), Smith, Solskjaer, O'Shea, Richardson. ROVERS: Friedel, Emerton, Samba, Nelsen ©, Warnock, Dunn, Mokoena, Tugay, Pedersen, McCarthy, Derbyshire. Subs: Enckelman (GK), Nonda, Henchoz, Roberts, Peter From the official site. Nothing special for Rovers, Dunn takes over from suspended Bentley and Nelsen returns to XI - Zurab out injured. Nonda on the bench. Looks like the best XI for ManU too?
FourLaneBlue Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Dunn on the right. Perfect position for him to cut inside and launch a 30-yard thunderbolt. It seems Derbyshire is now first-choice with Nonda and Roberts behind him in the pecking order. Quite a rise since three months ago!
den Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Dunn on the right. Perfect position for him to cut inside and launch a 30-yard thunderbolt. The left side, in his case, is better for that FLB. Right wing has never been a great position for DD.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Apparently Manure have only given away 4 penalties at OT in the history of the Premier League, so I wouldn't be expecting any favours from the referee
roversmum Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Nothing special for Rovers but there isn't anyone else
gumboots Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 in view of the officiating debacle against Wham I think the premier league should instruct all todays officials at OT that any shot on goal from Rovers must automatically be awarded as a goal and any possible penalty for Rovers should be given. Man U always get preferential treatment anyway so things might just be evened up a bit.
Finch Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 as man utd are in title-winning form I cant see us getting owt from this. Would be happy with a point though, but with us it's usually one way or the other.
FourLaneBlue Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 The left side, in his case, is better for that FLB. Right wing has never been a great position for DD. He scored a cracker against Villa at Ewood from that position in our first season back up. Must have been with his left foot then rather than his right.
Mr. E Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 in view of the officiating debacle against Wham I think the premier league should instruct all todays officials at OT that any shot on goal from Rovers must automatically be awarded as a goal and any possible penalty for Rovers should be given. Man U always get preferential treatment anyway so things might just be evened up a bit. they have to do this every game till the end of the season if they want to start giving us back all the points they've stolen.
Mr. E Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 goddamit what are we doing, how is Rooney not being marked at all.
Daremz Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Guess we're 0-1 up, Derbs. Nobody here to celebrate with me? Let's keep this until half time.
