jim mk2 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Carew and Ridgewell out, Young and Cahill very doubtful, Berger making his first start of the season and Angel playing his first game since January; if Rovers cannot be arsed to raise their game and beat this motley crew then quite frankly I don't see why supporters should be arsed to go to Old Trafford for the semi-final.

Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Carew out. Now theres a bonus I would say play this formation, with Benni coming on at half time unless we are comfortably leading ----------------Brad---------------------- ---Bert--Samba--Nelsen--Warnock---- Bentley--Mokoena--Tugay/Dunn--MGP -----------Derbs--Roberts--------------- I'll say, hurm... Blackburn - 1 (Derbyshire) Villa - 2 (Abalong, Angel) Not feeling too positive at all
Roar of the Rover Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Its a must win game especially now as Everton have beaten Fulham and cemented there spot near the European places.
Guest shoppybrfc Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Your all mad if you think Roberts should start. Nonda is clearly the better option if we're looking at dropping Benni.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 The good weather might encourage a few walk ons
budha Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 ROVERS: Friedel, Emerton, Samba, Nelsen ©, Warnock, Bentley, Tugay, Mokoena, Pedersen, Derbyshire, McCarthy. Subs: Brown (GK), Nonda, Henchoz, Dunn, Roberts. ASTON VILLA: Sorensen, Mellberg, Laursen, Barry ©, Petrov, Agbonlahor, Bouma, Berger, Bardsley, Gardner, Maloney. Subs: Taylor (GK), McCann, Davis, Hughes, Moore. From the official site. No suprises here, Bentley walking back to starting XI after suspension and Dunn dropped to bench. Edit: Villa's attack look really thin.. is it just Agbonlahor and Maloney? Or those 2 and Berger?
Finch Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 cautiously optimistic about this one despite our poor record against rubbish teams. 2-0 Rovers will do nicely thankyou.
James No. 7 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 "Benni McCarthy! Clap clap clap clap clap." 1-0 to the Rovers. McCarthy penalty.
Finch Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 its a bit empty this thread. Maybe everyone is at Ewood!
benhben Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Why is the BBC website reporting weve had 0 shots on target even though we have scored!
Finch Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Why is the BBC website reporting weve had 0 shots on target even though we have scored! I know the BBC are biased but that is ridiculous.
James No. 7 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 its a bit empty this thread. Maybe everyone is at Ewood! The chat room has around ten people or so. I gave it up after always getting to read (or hear through those sounds you can play) about the goals before actually getting the broadcast. It's not looking too good at the moment. Not a shot on target, excepting the penalty kick.
bubblerrovers Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Sounds like we've given up, what a shame. I think it's a fair shout to drop some of the players for the semi, some seem to be playing on auto pilot i see us getting murdered next weekend unless a serious attitude change happens.
benhben Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 this is going to be 0 points from West Ham and Aston Villa at home. How were still in the top half i dont know. Some importiant work for hughes to do in the summer!
kevinyip Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 The player think that the season was finished and already in holiday mood.

When does a blip become a slump? (plus Burnley are ahead )
Finch Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Sky are reporting that its "kitchen sink" time. Injury time now
kevinyip Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 We will face terms like charlton, fulham and watford this month so we won't get any mark...
G Somerset Rover Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Saw it coming to be honest. As I mentioned a few days ago-Villa had won 2 prem games out of 20 so it was a gimme.
