Great news! Hopefully they will include all the following - Home & Away kits, keeper kits, training kits, official tracksuits, hoodies, polo shirts with the badge on.

Mini kits, car stickers, flags, scarves, caps, postcards, posters

also rugs, curtains, bedding, decanters, glasses, mugs, lamp shades anything you can think of. Get the products out there. Cant wait!!

This truly is great news and helpful trying to turn my coming son into a blackburn rovers supporter. I just received an Umbro home-kit in size 1 yr.

I wonder if 'fan pressure' helped in any way?

Of course it did.

Well done to the club for being big enough to tacitly admit a mistake had been made.

I expect all the posters in the camp of 'screw a few mini-kits, this is a good business deal' will be on here crticising the club for actually listening to its core customers and stopping treating them like mugs.

That's going a bit far but I expect every poster who demanded a mini-kit will now actually go out and buy one! :)

I won't - I'm not keen on them. I'd like a new club badge car air freshener though!

Just got back from the Annual Awards Evening and in John Williams 'Message from the Chairman', he stated along with other news that Rovers had now taken back control of the club shop and as of next season it would be under sole control of the club!

My first Rovers 'scoop'!!!

At last I will be able kit my daughter out with some Rovers gear. She's four, and in the four years that Sports Thingy have been in charge there has been a very poor choice!

This is a really good chance to make it one of the best club shops in the Prem. The physical structure of the building is excellent and has plenty of floor space, now lets make it on par with the run as well as the rest of the club. It would be great to hear other fans commenting on how good it is in years to come!

What people really need to remember is the club have spent a lot of time and presumably money on getting the shop back, so all those that have moaned about it now need to be prepared for a few things:

Sports World are a big company, they can afford ridiculously low prices - Rovers Can't!

The club will take time to get in the stock and I mean time, think how long it takes for a shipment of shirts to get here when they begin in production months before!

The club do their best for us so support them!

The club will not make as much money as they did under sports worlds ownership and therefore we need to make sure if we are buying something Rovers, we do it in the shop, not from JJB because its a fiver cheaper, or sports world because its a tenner cheaper, but the club shop!

I'm sure we'll get our season ticket discount back as well so just think about things and remember how the shop is now when you're moaning we've not much in the shop in september and what is in is expensive!

To be fair there can't be any less rovers merchandise than there is now.

Get Tugay making some Keyrings over the summer.

I dont care if it takes a while to get stocked up. I dont care if it costs me a bit more, lets just rejoice!

The club shop is a pivotal aspect of any football club at any level, it was a total outrage what Mike 'I love football, me' Ashley's mob had done to it. Can't wait to see car's with the mini kit hanging, scarves wrapped around wrists. Its bringing a tear.

as was said earlier...is it new management or the same "cant be arsed" staff who are a waste of time,i for one wont go in there again whilst that ignorent woman runs things and my next two shirts for next season will be bought at jjb if she is.They also need to lower the costs of names on the backs of shirts as its done at a fraction of that at jjb.Not moaning at the shop going back to the rovers outlet just the woman that runs it.

Then you have the woman behind the Away Travel/Customer Services desk... I could go on all day about her... I don't think she has cracked a smile for 20 years and wouldn't know what Customer Service was if it slapped her in the face! There are too many people at Rovers who think they are something special, ticket office excepted.

Good news about the shop though, haven't been in there for god knows how long - will be good to have a look round when it's ready.

I would imagine the staff will transfer to Rovers.

Lets hope performance management kicks in and that they treat customers like customers, and not like a pile of something rather unpleasant.
