gumboots Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Whooooshhhhhh!!! Sorry, t'was my attempt at humour. Should have put a 'smiley' on! I didn't really take it seriously anyway. Was just curious how we'd managed to miss out if it was true, since i seem to have spent more time nipping down to ewood for tickets for various people recently than I have at home.
bennyboyt11 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 anyone own a training fleece top? thinking about buying one and wasn't sure on the quality of the garment
Hughesy Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Well I was down at ewood earlier tonight to see Roque. Told him he best still be here in february, he laughed at the way I told him, but said "I will" and shook my hand. His agent is a nob by the way. After Roque being there for 30 mins the agent wanted to go, however Roque didnt and he stayed for over 1hr 20mins. Sound bloke, happy to sign away and have his picture took. I bought a ball in the shop and got him to sign it for me. Probably about 400-500 turned up for him, which was a good turn out. NEW SHOP ITEMS: Tumblers, Whiskey glasses, mini decanter sets, dressing gowns, slippers, footballs, stadium photos, Canvas pictures of players, CHAMPIONS SEASON ON DVD/ LEAGUE CUP winners on DVD, pens, cufflinks, ties, more leisure wear with the club badge on.
Hughesy Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 It seemed that way, he didnt shy away and not answer me, he looked very happy to me, I just worry about his agent who was so arrogant it was unreal.
Bobby G Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Damn agents... Maybe he genuinely believes he will be here, cause he cant see a bid...But if it does come...Anyways, we wont know till January 31...I believe its vital he stays and we will survive for sure.
James No. 7 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 cheers i've done so, now im just hoping it will turn up. Did it turn up? And how much was postage for you? No matter what item I put in the basket (from a keyring to ten t-shirts), I get the same "standard postage" to Australia of £12, which is almost AU$30. A £2 keyring costs £12 to send in postage? Sorry to be negative, but it doesn't seem to be worth buying anything unless I'm buying several items, which is hard to justify. I occasionally buy from the UK via eBay from both small and big-time sellers and it is usually easy to find affordable postage (including insurance).

I post shirts to Australia for members from time to time and it's about £5-6 from memory. If you want soemthing let me know. You could PayPal the money or something similar

dopper69 Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Is anyone else having difficulty adding items into the online shop's basket? Last few days I've been trying to purchase a few bits and when Im clicking 'add' then going to the basket it keeps telling me that there is nothing in my basket. Frustrating to say the least! Ive ordered plenty of things in thepst and had no problems. I've also deleted all cookies etc but it still keeps happening. Any ideas?

Guest Kamy100 Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Good to see that the club shop is stocking DVD's of recent glories. Bought the Worthington Cup and Premier League Champions ones, excellent quality and value. Also bought back some really good memories!

I did the same thing after the Sunderland debacle (needed cheering up!) Would definitely recommend them. The Championship DVD is a straight conversion of the original VHS but well worth it anyway.
bubblerrovers Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 The website is a waste of time, trying to buy the dvd's on the website and keep saying add, but nothing adds to basket so the club is losing out on money again, also still showing tickets for Middlesborough and chelsea, SORT IT OUT or shut it down
Cocker Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Just had my first visit to the Rovers shop and between me and the Mrs we spent just over £200. Some really nice things and its great to be able to buy Rovers things again. I am however very disappointed with the 94-95 'DVD' All they have done is rip the video version and stick it in a new box. I would have thought for the DVD they could have stuck some extra things on it. I watched it all the way through again last night and after the credits the copyright info comes up about not copying the video cassette - not happy with that at all - very cheap knock off indeed.

I agree it would have been nice to do something else with it, but then I've not had a VHS player for a long time so it was nice to see the whole thing again.
jonv Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 on the front page of the online store it advertises %20 off replica shirts... is the discount being taken off for anyone else it seems to still be the old price when I goto the checkout
JC4LAB Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 A distinct improvement and now a proper club shop..but now its costs...The shop looks good if the kit colours chosen for the season are themselves good...Didnt like the old grey theme......
sambo Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Getting the two DVD's I think, not bothered if its a straight conversion because my VHS is fuzzy and doesn't do it justice.
Hannah Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 My Mum has said I am not allowed the title winning season on DVD for Christmas- She says she still has nightmares about when I was off school "studying" for my GCSE's that I watched it every day!!! No wonder the video doesn't work. Looks like I will have to buy it myself.
sambo Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Haha shame, although it makes me envious of the people who were old enough to appreciate the true magnitude of the achievement, I was 3...
