Shevchenko Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Looks like we're going to extra time and unfortunately, I think that would favour Chelsea. I think we're starting to look a little tired now and we haven't really got too much to bring on from the bench.

tsnuf Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 I'm worried by the yellows on Mokoena and Dunn.... and Emerton. All 3 of them are known to make rash challenges.
Mr. E Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 whatever happens we have been magnficent, we have been heroes, i can't get any produer of this team. CMON ROVERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finch Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Im sure its been asked and answered before but why the black arm bands? Is it anything to do with the Hillsborough anniversary? (that schoolboy lino just incorrectly flagged us offside)
tsnuf Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Uh oh. SWP coming on and Warnock's just been booked... C'mon ROVERS!
Ste B Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 BANDS ARE TO DO WITH HILLSBORO ANNIVERSARY CAN'T WATCH THIS. FEEL SICK. BEER DOENST HELP MIND
Shevchenko Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Looking increasingly knackered now...very nervous, hard to watch :-/
Finch Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 We could be 15 mins plus pens away from Wembley and Europe.
Shevchenko Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Bugger...that's it. Bloody fine effort but we just haven't enough left in the tank to go 120 mins toe to toe with these guys.
Flopsy Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 2-1 Frideal comes up for a corner, we've done ourselves proud today, oh if only MGP had taken that header. If If If
James No. 7 Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 We played well. The first half of the first half wasn't great, but we then slowly got the game going our way. It's a shame to go out like this.
Flopsy Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 all over - still we did our best, and the team with the best players finally came through - sign of champions? Bugger bugger bugger Can anyone tell me why Bentley was brought off and not Emerton?
USABlue Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Brave brave effort, beaten by one of the best teams in moderntimes, no shame there. Well done lads, if only Mortens header oh well back to the bread and butter of Watford next week. Sort of a third place game.
Rovermatt Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 So the FA gets the final that it wanted after yesterday's cosy stroll for the scum at Villa Park. We performed brilliantly and save for fate and the excellence of Cech we would be in the final. I'm absolutely gutted.
doctorryan Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Men of the match: Cech & MGP What are you gonna do? Matches like this are almost like coin flips.
sany Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 I’m in tears...I'll need weeks to recover..Lucky @#/?s!!!
yellowsubmarine Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 I believe Rovers have banished the nightmares from the semis against Arsenal a couple of seasons back. We are a much better unit now that CAN play football against the big boys.
bryanz Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Disheartened but proud! Looking at the bright side, we really showed we are only margins from the "big" clubs... We can surely establish ourselves as at least at a higher level... I’m in tears...I'll need weeks to recover..Lucky @#/?s!!!
Eddie Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Well after the first 30 or so minutes that was one of the final performances I've ever seen by Rovers. We were brilliant and did everything well. Sadly we didn't take our chances and there was no way that we could afford to let them score in extra-time. Horrible stuff and really tough to take, but you can't fault the players for it. I think I'll spend the next few months thinking "what-if" about that Pedersen header and it is a shame that, that really is the end of our season.
Eddie Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 We could be 15 mins plus pens away from Wembley and Europe. Why?
benhben Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Well done to rovers. How that team can take 0 points from West Ham and Villa at home i do not know. We had the best chances throughout the game with Pedersen x2 and Samba all missing chances. Very impressed with Dunn whos fitness seems to be improving all the time. Jason Roberts deserves to start the rest of the season. Pacey, strong and posed problems throughout. Next season with injured players back and hopefully a couple of decent signings, we could well be a force pushing for a european spot.
ontwowheels Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Well done lads - I think Manure will go on to win in the finals. Let's hope we can go on and win our remaining games.
