Alan75 Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Rovers will have just over 23,000 supporters at Old Trafford this afternoon when they face Chelsea in the FA Cup Semi Final. Rovers and Chelsea have returned approximately 7,000 tickets each, all of which are in the £45 and £55 price band. I suspect that the whole allocation of 30,000 tickets per club, would have been sold if the pricing had been structured at an affordable level with greater emphasise given to junior concession prices. Once again little consideration has been given to the supporters, as the FA organise events around the tv companies and the financial institutions. Despite all the obstacles set, by the FA, a strong core of Rovers supporters will be at Old Trafford this afternoon; to roar on the team as they attempt to spoil the FA’s dream final of Manchester United v Chelsea. For all those going to the game, have a safe journey and let’s get behind the team and help them towards Uncle Jack and every supporters dream of reaching a Wembley Cup Final.
