1864roverite Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Its the Rovers badge that matters, not the logo or whoever the sponsors are. You never see a footballer kissing anything other than the club crest
Uddersfelt Blue Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 is the new sponsor going to be easy jet? Would be ironic if we do go with Easyjet seeing as The Trustees own Flybe Hope we keep the red and black halves, looks good and seems to be a lucky kit
Nelsta Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Dont know if this will effect our kit but Umbro has been bought out by nike.
revolutionrock! Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Dont know if this will effect our kit but Umbro has been bought out by nike. Will be Umbro.
Cheshireblue Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 The rules have just changed on the size of shirt sponsors logo's. They can now be 250 cm2 rather than the old 200 cm2. So you can all look forward to even bigger logo's ruining your shirts next season.
laughatthedingles Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Would think it will follow this template:
DanLad Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 The England team make a mess of the hokey-cokey AGAIN!
Ben-2000 Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 The Red and Black halves have got to be made permanent. I don't know anybody who doesn't like that design where-as all previous away kits have had their critics.
Gumbi Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 There's a possibilty we may use this template instead which is much nicer than the England one in my opinion.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 The Red and Black halves have got to be made permanent. I don't know anybody who doesn't like that design where-as all previous away kits have had their critics. Agreed. Not one for buying shirts but this seasons away is one of the smartest for many a year....the halved away shirt should be made permanent without question.
American Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 But after a couple of years it will get normal. I'd be happy if they only did the halved away shirt once every 5 years or so. Would make it more special when it did come around.
Hughesy Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Id rather we do halved shirts every season so it becomes like a trademark for us. Our Blue & White is already famous!
Cheshireblue Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 There's a possibilty we may use this template instead which is much nicer than the England one in my opinion. No Danger at all of that design being used. That particular shirt is a Japanese club which was designed and supplied by a company called Descente under license in Japan. It is not an Umbro design. I've seen next years kits and they don't look like that!
Gumbi Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 I hope it doesn't use the design of the new England shirt. From your descpription of the shirt, it sounds like ours is different. Would I be right?

Would I be right? You are quite right. It is a very clean design with no bells or whistles. The England design is unique.

Cheshireblue Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Care to photoshop your version? Do I strike you as someone that would know how to photoshop anything?
modes98 Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Changing the badge as well To the old West Indies cricket badge by the looks of it.
