Tris Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 I am just not a big fan of lying. For me Unleaded seems to genuinely have some inside knowledge while Pleasure thows around crazy conjecture as truth. It's quite simple really. Anyone who actually DOES have a means of getting information that is of interest to Rovers fans, but is not in the public domain, is NEVER going to share it on the internet!!! Not one single poster who claims to have "inside knowledge" actually does. Sharing it on here would guarantee losing the source.
Eddie Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Kamy and Unleaded have always been pretty good. They don't have insider knowledge, but they have good sources.
broadsword Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Surely someone who has inside knowledge has a good source (Daddies?) All this transfer rumours malarkey should be siphoned up into a huge cosmic dustbin along with most of what oasis did after definitely maybe. Angela Rippon's knicker elastic holds more interest.
Eddie Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 That is true Bryan, but I would see insider knowlege as someone within the club, whereas someone like unleaded may get his information from agents because of his work.

And so why is any agent going to feed a single grain of truth to someone who slaps it all onto an internet forum? Of course I'm sure these agents see unleaded as vital to their livelihoods, but my hunch is that client confidentiaity and the trust of the clubs is probably more important - and if they are going to blab some misinformation to try and influence a situation, it will be to the gutter press not a Rovers website mole. It's all RUBBISH!

Maybe he only tells us stuff that has been given to the media anyway, so he is getting it to us an hour or two in advance, I don't know, but he has given us some good information at times, as has kamy.
thenodrog Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 and quite possibly, craig simply 'forgot' to mention the hefty signing on fee liverpool (probably) paid him! Indeed and that's something the press and media seem unable to comprehend. There'll be many more occasions and weekends this season when Bellamy scores Paul. And each one will be like a knife in the guts given that we were daft enough to let him have a clause in his contract allowing him to leave for just 6m. Especially whenever he produces an effort like Portsmouth away. Daft enough? It was part of his signing on terms. And what if 6wks ago Eidur Gudjonnsen's agent had made the same demands Simon? Lets pretend you are the boss.....would you have turned him down or signed him up? btw Same principle in retrospect with Duff. We either agreed to the 17 mill clause or he would not sign a new contract. What would you have done there? Without a serious investor we are little old unfashionable Blackburn Rovers and we have to make do with the scraps off the Prem table and thats that.
Eddie Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 Looks like Kuyt is heading to Anfield as well, might not get as much playing time as expected.
pleasure Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 I think he basicaly just scours the net more so than any of us for his sources can you pls post me some website links, it'll save me conversing with people.

We either agreed to the 17 mill clause or he would not sign a new contract. Of course he would have signed Bellamy and Gudjohnson up on those terms. Look at what he had achieved in 1 year and we also made a profit on him. When i was last chatting Bellamy I asked him about the chances of signing him. He said no chance we could afford him because he's on like £60,000 a week. I said, but sure your on £70,000 and to what he replied, "I FECKING WISH MATE" Do you really think that an extra £5,000 could have made the difference to him signing on?
HertsRover Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 For footballing reasons im upset Bellamys gone, but for the good of the club im glad we will no longer be marred with his stupidity.... http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=40...+for+Wales+star

herbergeehh Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 This popped up on Blackburn's newsnow page, didn't bother to read it, but I can only imagine it's about Bellers. I guess they haven't read about his transfer to Liverpool yet then, the tossers Police chase missing inmate
FourLaneBlue Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Thanks for that link herbergeehh. We all like to be kept up to date on the news from Kentucky.
pleasure Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Thought so. Good news, they found him! damn! they've nabbed him. i was hoping he'd take a trip to burnley and burn down t'turf.
Ozz Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 I take no pleasure at all from the early goal by Maccabi at Anfield, where Craig is making his bow.
