stuwilky Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 The kit is definitely Umbro it has been produced & ok`d by the club. My 'man in the know' says it has all the umbro trademarks (ie...fancy under arm bits like the England shirts) & looks very nice (both home & away) All we are waiting for is Sportsworld or whatever they`re called (?) to pull their fingers out & sign whatever contracts that need to be signed. The shirts are waiting to be dispatched. I think we've been talking to the same person Cletus!

JAL Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Just on the tacky sportsworld shop and Rovers, for me is it not the duty of the club to sell the Rovers brand by designing quality clothing with the Rovers logo on it to the public wether its a money making adventure or not. The image of the fans is as important as the club itself.
cletus Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 I think we've been talking to the same person Cletus! I know who he is, you know who he is & he know`s who he is
Presty On Tour Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 the new kits have to be on sale before our intertoto cup game or we will all look like wallys!!! yeah i love the retro kits, my jansen 10 jersey is my fave but when your team is playing in a kit none of the supporters are wearing, it just doesn't happen!!!!
WelshRed Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 the new kits have to be on sale before our intertoto cup game or we will all look like wallys!!! yeah i love the retro kits, my jansen 10 jersey is my fave but when your team is playing in a kit none of the supporters are wearing, it just doesn't happen!!!! The kit hasn't changed much to be fair. As for Inter tot, you don't get to those dizzy heights every year, might as well release a new kit to mark the occasion...
modes98 Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 I know who he is, you know who he is & he know`s who he is Are you pair just talking to each other? So is it just the basic umbro design with the rovers colours, badge and sponsor?
broadsword Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 i likes the ajax away kit, i have to say the bayern munich home kit looks like a boro replica!!!! Nah, get one fo these, dead smart ... http://www.uksoccershop.com/products/1565.html
stuwilky Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 the new kits have to be on sale before our intertoto cup game or we will all look like wallys!!! It wont be.... And we wont.
cletus Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 So is it just the basic umbro design with the rovers colours, badge and sponsor? Probably
Hughesy Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 It wont be.... And we wont. Why wont we look like wallies?
stuwilky Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Why wont we look like wallies? Because our kit isnt on sale? How does that make us look like wallies is probably a better question.
Presty On Tour Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 maybe this wally business has gone to far! did anyone else have the wheres wally books?
modes98 Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 did anyone else have the wheres wally books? can you find him? Interestingly he is actually modelling next seasons third strip!

Shabani Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 http://www.soccer-tops.com/products.htm?pid=244 just come across this
Grabbi Graeme Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Badge does look a bit womky, also Lonsdale is still on the shirt and not umbro and why is only the away shirt available.
greggyk Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 the rovers badge is lookin a bit dodgy on that The blokes tits could be the reason for that!
Kandevil Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 http://www.soccer-tops.com/products.htm?pid=244 just come across this As is so apparent from the quality of the shirt and Lonsdale on it, it is a fake. That soccer-tops site gets mentioned everywhere, but it is just full of fakes. The Beckham one on there is another bad example. Some end up looking like the actual shirt, lots of others don't. Depends how much the club release about it before it is launched. This is one good reason for clubs to keep the new shirt details under wraps for as long as possible before launch, stop the counterfeiters taking people's money who think they are buying the real stuff. I'm a big fan of the clubs/manufacturers leaking false information, so the fakers make the wrong shirts and waste a load of money
BlueMonday Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 http://www.soccer-tops.com/products.htm?pid=244 just come across this Thats one dodgey mock up that !
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Clearly photoshopped, the bloke even has a blue tint to him They always "leak" fake shirts before release so that all the people who are sat ready with their wool and needles start producing the wrong shirt
Kandevil Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 we should think ourselves lucky that Kappa aren't making our kits still, look at this effort for 1860 Munich:
yellowsubmarine Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 GOSH! What's with the gigantic kappa logo on the sleeve?
mike at picture Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Smart top that, a bit like that late 80's/early 90's Cambridge blue number we had.
