as for smith , it's a gamble at 6m.

if he was the same striker back in the day at leeds then it would be a yes.

as for the bad injury and being played all over the park and at 6m with our budget it would have to be a no.

1) He wouldn't have the 'protection' of playing for one of the 'big teams'

2) He'd be playing for 'bully boy' Blackburn

1 + 2 = red cards aplenty

Torres is almost certain to leave Atletico this summer, according to reports from Spain, but they're holding out for his release clause which is allegedly £27m. As to where he'll go, that's another story. Liverpool's new owners haven't been as forthcoming with the cash as they promised

Savage is too good to let go without having another fighter to replace him. Whilst Mokoena had a couple of stirling performances last season i still don't think he is good enough to do the role on a full time basis and you would never ask Reidy or Dunny to do it. Plus he has some leg breaking to do this season.
