  1. 1. Have your say on the summer transfer window.

    • Should have had more cash to spend. Almost everyone else did.

Looking at our midfield, I think our wide men can be two of the best in the Premierships, and we have adequate cover.

However, in the centre we have too many questions...

Tugay - Considering his age, how effective will he be next season? Bit-part role.

Reid - How will he come back from having two major injuries (back and knee)?

Dunn - Looked fit but did not show the creative side to his game which he used to have - can he provide?

We know what we are getting with Savage. The Axe is also an unknown quantity but there is no doubt he improved the more he played last season.

As you may have heard, Man United recently missed out on signing Fabio Quagliarella, a relatively unknown Sampdoria striker. This video is proof of why Alex Ferguson is probably still going mental about it.

Hughesy needs to keep tabs on this chap. He scores 35-yard wonderstrikes that would make Tugay cry.

A full season in the Serie A and an International debut for the best National team in the world does though. Fantastic striker, but I would think he's bound for one of the bigger clubs in Italy. That being said, probably don't deserve his own thread?

Quagliarella was part owned by Sampdoria and Udinese.

Udinese last week outbid Sampdoria and now own him entirely.

Juventus signed Iaquinta from Udinese last week, so Quagliarella has stated that he doesn't think Udinese will let him go now, as he will be his replacement.

Italian football puzzles me sometimes

Ipswich will receive £2.5m from the sell-on clause, so hopefully they will now buy Jeffers for £1m

that would be tidy business by us.

here the link for bent's 16.5m move to spurs

http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...ecord+Bent+deal

robbie keane recently signed a new deal at spurs and with berbatov and bent, mr defoe looks unwanted.

has been heavily linked with portsmouth, could be an option imo.

Just wait for the rumours for Defoe. Villa and Man City will be linked with him….

Man Utd may even look at him – Rooney threading through balls to hi, whilst Defoe’s movement causes havoc.

Sadly we have no chance.

Good stuff there. Did'nt one Ciccio Grabbi cost us 7mil on the back of one of these videos.

I believe all those goals are from this past season. Anyone who does all that in one season is a pretty decent player I'd say. (EDIT: Seems I was correct. That's not a compilation, it's simply the 13 goals he scored this season)

Secondly, Grabbi I believe Grabbi scored most his goals in Serie B, not Serie A. And he also didn't start any international games for Italy, nor score any goals for them. Unlike Quagliarella.

EDIT #2: I'd forgotten about that overhead kick from the corner. Wow. But since we never had any chance to sign him in the first place I guess it's a rather pointless topic.
