  1. 1. Have your say on the summer transfer window.

    • Should have had more cash to spend. Almost everyone else did.

He's a good hurler too I hear.

Never heard but coming from Rasharkin then it wouldn't be a surprise if he played Hurling or Gaelic. Looks as though an all round sportsman. Spoken to a few who know/have met him and a real down to earth lad.

If Bellamy did come back, do you think that all the idiots who booed him when came back to Ewood with Liverpool would still boo him?? Typical Blackburn fans really, boo some one who did well for the club!

The interesting comment for me here is “Nor can we breach the pay structure at our club.” Does this mean that they expect us to pay some of Fanny's wages

If we do take 500,000 then look on the bright side it will pay for our two signings and Jeffers was free anyway so no real loss. :)

The Mido to Blackburn chatter is growing and growing..............................................

This is from one of the Spurs fans.

"Not claiming to be ITK however, a mate of mine happened to be in the Blackburn area on a night out (his family are from there, why else would you go there?) and happened to pull some bird in one of the clubs. Heres the interesting bit, he happened to mention he was a Spurs boy in the morning and the (not so lovely by now) lady happened to mention how they have signed our best striker (she obviously doesnt know much about footy). My mate enquired whom that might be to which she apparently said Mido (I repeat, she obviously doesnt watch much footy). Anyway my mate asked her how she knew this and apparently she is a daughter of some sort of director up there and said she was told by daddy - God knows if its the truth but hey ho!

Oh, this is before they signed Rigters so maybe not so true now, but I'm bored and thought I'd pass it on...

IMHO it would be great if Hughes went in for the African star as he would be a great replacement for the out going Roberts who will put in a transfer request soon.

barrel bottom scraping of pluseare

Restoring some sanity- Ipswich are obviously trying really hard to get Rovers to halve the asking price for Jeffers with this third bid. The problem all round is that the sort of big kicker on promotion which helped land Jay McEveley at Derby is simply not credible with Ipswich.

If Roberts goes what price on Benni staying?

we wont go back in for mido, after he bailed on us last summer (medical booked in and everything).

oh, philipl. i've never stooped so low as to say - '' a girl i know, pulled mido the other night, in jumping jack's the other night. he must be signing for the rovers.''

how hurtful.

Although I would like to see Bellamy back, I wont be too upset if it never happens. As I see it now, there could well be a problem with having both Benni and Bellers; two hugely inflated ego's in the same team? Could be a recipe for disaster.

As long as we can keep both Roberts and Benni, with Rigter and Derbs and maybe A.N.Other I think we will do OK. Depending on who the A.N. Other turns out to be, we may be doing very well indeed. I just have a feeling that Rigter will turn out to be another MH jewel and with Derbs coming on fast, the competition for striking places could get very hot.

At the time I wanted him to sign so much because I did rate him however, he has gone a year without much footy and I think we could pull someone more important now.

I'm sure that I've heard that story (substituted with another player's name) word for word all over. Rubbish.

I thought Baird was from Randalstown.

According to SkySports Fulham have bid £4m for Henri Camara at Wigan. Does that mean they have dropped their interest in Roberts? Or do they just like former Wigan forwards. Actually, I seem to remember Roberts and Camara worked well together for a short time.

I might be a tad Rovers biased here, but since when has Henri Camara been worth £4m and Roberts worth £2.5?

Another offer for Jeffers..How can we be holding out for 1 million  He's crap

We've always been looking for a million. Ipswich want to put a large amount of any fee in terms of achievements and targets, according to their chairman. I would guess that's where the problem is.
