AggyBlue Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 She is very tasty....can't blame Santa for coming early this year If Santa comes early, we've all got a chance
orwot Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 I find his choice of jewellry a bit ostentatious... LMAO!!! fantastic mate!
pleasure Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 roque has his own website (set-up by his german fans). http://www.roque-santa-cruz.de/content/leb...utq9v828teh0746 the sales of tissues in munich will have rocketed today, (that's not a reference to his wife). interesting his hobbies include 'computers.' he might join this forum !
DanLad Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 I hope he brings his bird with him! I'm not sure he's a good signing. Looks like he's a big drinker...
FourLaneBlue Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Roberts, Benni, Derbyshire, Righters and Santa Cruz will be our main strikers. That remains to be seen.
Rainmaker Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 BBC Quote MH as saying a striker leaving is possible. I hope its Hughes' intention to put the fox in a box and ship him out, prefrably by DHL or something, as long as its by express mail
RevidgeBlue Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 I hope its Hughes' intention to put the fox in a box and ship him out, prefrably by DHL or something, as long as its by express mail If we'd have done the right thing and accepted Ipswich's original 500k offer for him we'd have saved about 150k in wages already (and counting) I share FLB's suspicions, just hope Santa Cruz's imminent arrival isn't a precursor to McCarthy's departure.
herbergeehh Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 150k in wages?? I thought Franny were on a pay-as-you-play kind of deal?
RevidgeBlue Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 150k in wages?? I thought Franny were on a pay-as-you-play kind of deal? He supposedly wanted 10k p.w. to join Derby so it's a fair indicator.
Rainmaker Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 He supposedly wanted 10k p.w. to join Derby so it's a fair indicator. Which was more than he gets from Rovers. In addition He cold not have moved four months ago.
LeftWinger Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Which was more than he gets from Rovers. In addition He cold not have moved four months ago. Transfer window opened on 1st July didnt it? So even if he was on 10k - thats still only about 40k we'd have saved by selling him anytime after the midseason window closed.
roverich Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Everyone seen the latest on Santa's transfer... Sparky sounds positive: http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...Santa+Cruz+deal I would have considered him out of our reach a few months ago so this is a very pleasing and my fingers are tightly crossed. Think he will be a great player to partner McCarthy and with Rigters, Roberts and Derbyshire backing them up we should have no injury crisis in attack. I do wonder if this potential signing might encourage Roberts to leave though in order to find himself guaranteed regular first team football.

Manc Rover Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 I hope he brings his bird with him! I can't stop looking at that trophy - or is it a pair of them?
philipl Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 It is the German equivalent of the FA Cup isn't it?
American Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Ok let's make it fair first, what about a smaller amount ( I am not a gambler unless it is poker) to start with then the bet be that Rovers finish higher then West Ham? I just say top half for WHU, no matter where we are in relation. Again, assuming no points deductions. Maybe we can do something without money - maybe update your signature as I desire, and if I lose I make mine whatever you want it to be?
Manc Rover Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 I'm racking my brains to think of another South American that's played for Rovers (apart from Ardiles for a game or two in 1988). Nobody springs to mind!
