absolutely agree! I just thought we're pretty much done in the transfer market...(maybe a loan player or two?) :rover:

When was that interview given?

The whole 'I look at some of the players that have moved, and then I look at my squad and think they wouldn't improve it.' has been a quote that was bandied around before we signed Roque. I suspect that we've already signed the one or two players that Hughesy was referring to when he said that...

What I was getting at (as you probably already know!) is that I suspect that this is just a re-hash of old quotes and interviews.

I like the thing at the bottom of you posts. A 'sig' is it called?

I'm not sure why SG194 is worried though, there's not a chance they'd go for Pedersen, he's not good enough.

In respect of Jeffers' move to Sheff Wed, the fee is less than some think, it certainly is not 600k which is being muted. Rovers have had to "assist the fee" and have therefore accepted a lesser fee instead of paying him a big pay off I am led to beleive.

This report if true fills me with utter dread! :unsure:

Robben is a winger McCarthy is centre forward. It wont affect BRFC one single bit with exception that he wont score against us and he wont get kicked off the park at Ewood. CFC are just about to clinch the signing of Alves and are watching the Drenthe situation as it nears arbitration. If anything, it is those two players and NOT Mccarthy that provides an attraction to them.

I dont care how much he went for so glad to get rid of him! Into the championship where he belongs! One of the worst servants of the club... i mean who bad mouths a club and its fans that you are still contracted to what an idiot!

Anyone know anything about Joe Garner? I heard he may go out on loan again this season, apparently a few scottish sides were looking at him including an SPL side!

Most footballers seem to when they want to engineer a move these days!

I was talking to a Charlton season ticket holder who thought Murphy was shocking in his time there.

Interesting, because the couple of matches I watched when he was there he was by far the most class player on the pitch. His passing was sublime, and I've always wanted to see him at Rovers since...

It's going to be a great season of spanish football! Even more top names in spain now.

Italian football is really losing its charm fast! Everyone seems to be getting the hell outta there and into either spain or here! If AC hadnt won the Euro Cup last season would have have gone by without anyone knowing italian club football existed!

I cant believe Gudjohnson wants to stay with Barca now they have signed Henry, when is he gonna play? I think he will move if the right team comes in for him!

I think its like Benitez has said about his team - they all offer something different. Eider G will do a totally different job than Messi, Ronny and Henry. If one of those gets injured he could be really important to them.

I might stick some money on them for the champions league
