Perth_Rover Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Well for once it hasn't been hard for me, a lions fan. 4-2 haven't had a start like that for a long time.

Flopsy Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 If it had been the bronco's im sure you'ld have got a ticket
ABBEY Posted October 28, 2007 Author Posted October 28, 2007 GLAD I DIDNT GET A TICKET..THE RAIN KILLED THE MATCH AS A SPECTACLE AND IT TURNED INTO THE MOST BORING GAME IVE SEEN IN MANY YEARS.
Flopsy Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 so it can only be played in good weather? It'll never catch on over here then
ABBEY Posted October 28, 2007 Author Posted October 28, 2007 no you get good games in the rain this just wasnt one of them wont catch on??they could have sold wembley 4 or 5 times over today.
Flopsy Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 god will someone stick a sarcasm emoticon on please I quite enjoyed it (watched the first and last quarters) but cant see them having a franchise team in London, a one off will sell out 8 or 9 games a season? Doubt it
T4E Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 WOW IN ALL MY TIME AS ROVER AND A BRONCO IVE NEVER WITNESSED SUCH A PASSIONLESS SHOWING IN ANY TEAM I SUPPORT AS YESTERDAY..I WAS HIGH ON THE ROVERS WIN AND SUICIDll after the broncos pathetic showing..the worst ever!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see your reaction to today then........... The Broncos have just allowed 95 yards in 2 plays to go to 30-0 at the Lions. Edit: now 44-0. Atrocious.
ABBEY Posted November 5, 2007 Author Posted November 5, 2007 Can you believe how terrible this list is? TE Tony Scheffler: Broken foot WR Rod Smith: Hip surgery DE Ebenezer Ekuban : Torn achilles LB Ian Gold: Bruised vagina LG Ben Hamilton: Severe concussion C Tom Nalen: Torn pectoral CB Champ Bailey: Torn quadriceps WR Javon Walker: Knee inflammation CB Dre Bly: Shoulder separation TE Nate Jackson: Torn groin DE Jarvis Moss: Fractured fibula SS John Lynch: Neck stinger QB Jay Cutler: Severe leg contusion It's not just that they're starters, many of them are our stars. . We need to overcome. We are still mourning the 2 deaths i think as well...ah well at least we are gonna get a top 5 draft pick...and we are still only one game from tjhe lead.
T4E Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Can you believe how terrible this list is? LB Ian Gold: Bruised vagina Erm.....
Redrose49er Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 ell...ah well at least we are gonna get a top 5 draft pick. At least you've still got your pick, we traded ours to the Pats
Blueboy Downunder Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 well folks, it looks like your "AMERICA'S TEAM"...could sew up the nfc east this coming weekend, if other results go our way and then it is a charge for the best record in the nfc and home field advantage.
grizfoot Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 I've got into watching the NFL over the past couple of weeks, mainly because there's nothing else on on a Sunday night, it's actually more entertaining than I thought. I think I just about grasp most of the rules. Thing is I don't really have a team to support. I like the look of the Dallas & Seattle but don't know which one a should adopt as my team.
Exiled_Rover Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Well the Cowboys are the Devil's team, but the Seahawks are just bland with awful uniforms. It's lose-lose.

Yeah...think VERY carefully about this. And never choose the cowgirls. Ever.
ABBEY Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 GRIZZZZZZZZZZZ ..........NO FADE....NO COWSGALS..NO MULLET BOYS... YOU NEED BRONCOS!!!IN YOUR LIFE MY FRIEND
American Rover12 Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Least the Jets didn't lose this week.
Eddie Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 I've got into watching the NFL over the past couple of weeks, mainly because there's nothing else on on a Sunday night, it's actually more entertaining than I thought. Go for the bears.
cn174 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 No. Just...no. Oi!!! Bears >>> Eagles and you know it Seriously, Bears are quite similar to Rovers...when they have a good thing going for them, they try their very best to mess it up! Also they have possibly the most infuriating QB in the league. On his day he is very good, but most of the time he is rubbish!!
Exiled_Rover Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 I'd suggest somebody like the Green Bay Packers. They have a decent fan base over here, so they're shown a fair amount of times on TV. Their fans are fanatical and, judging by the talent they have on their roster, have a bright few years ahead of them. The Steelers are a good shout too. They're going to be a very good team for a while too, and also have a fanatical following. Both teams have a great history too, which is always nice.
grizfoot Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Thanks for all your suggestions but I think I'm going to stick with the Seahawks. *cue stick* Which did you reckon will be the best game to watch tonight?
