Redrose49er Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 anyone watching this snowfest in clevland? Great to watch a game in weather like this, can't believe that 49yd FG!
Redrose49er Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Got money on Green bay -7, Baltimore -3 and New England -20 GB could undo you there if Jackson keeps running well
Gav Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 GB could undo you there if Jackson keeps running well Looks like the GB game will stay close, if they can stop Jackson though they'll win easily.
grizfoot Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Great to watch a game in weather like this, can't believe that 49yd FG! Yeah it's always instersting to watch when there's extreme weather about. Seahawks unexpectly lost against Carolina today.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 My Panthers are @#/? this year, yet they're 4-0 against the NFC Worst. Says all you need to know about that division.
Shevchenko Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 If Brian Westbrook doesn't go to Hawaii this season there is something seriously wrong with the whole Pro Bowl system. And it feels so, so good to beat the Cowgirls!
grizfoot Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 The Patriots look set to complete a 'perfect season' tonight, can't see them getting beat.
brfc_jonesy Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Haven't seen this thread before! Im a Cowboys fan and have been for a while! Think the season has been awesome, been impressed with the Packers this seasons! and felt sorry for the Browns missing out!
grizfoot Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Wild Card playoffs this weekend. My Seahawks are at home to the Redskins should be a very close game I think, we'll just have enough to edge it though hopefully. The Jags could be the team to look out for though, got a sneaky feeling they could go a long way.
Eddie Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I have a feeling this could be a very good year for the Giants.
Blueboy Downunder Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 i think your seahawks could have a good day grizfoot, but the prize for earning a victory today is a trip to BIG D, next weeked...is that right??
awhom111 Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 i think your seahawks could have a good day grizfoot, but the prize for earning a victory today is a trip to BIG D, next weeked...is that right?? No they will be playing at Green Bay.
Gav Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Last night Seahawks game was a great watch. For the redskins to come back and then retrieve the ball from the kick off it looked all over for Seattle. But the 30yrd kick was missed and then goodnight Washington. Great home. Tonight I have Tampa Bay -3 and San Diego -10, just a bit of fun really as the play offs are so hard to predict.

Thought the Seahawks had shot themsleves in the foot when they concede two touchdowns in two minutes and then that weird kick-off the dropped suddenly from the sky but fornately the Redskins went onto miss the field goal, that was the turning point in the game and the Seahawks went onto win comfortable. Got to travel to Green Bay for the next playoff match going to be difficult but I feel the Packers are beatable if we play well. The Jags also came through after a very close game against Pittsburg. If San Diego beat Tennesse in the other wildcard playoff tonight then it will the Jags against the Pats which as the making of a real instersting game. Tampa Bay Vs The Gianst on now, this could go anyway wouldn't like to call a winner on this one.
Exiled_Rover Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 I've just seen several teams trying their damndest to throw away their post season. Seattle, Tampa Bay, Washington, Tennessee, Pittsburg and Jacksonville all deserve to be going home after that display. Not that they weren't exciting games, but more down to ineptitude than execution.
ABBEY Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 some good games last weekend ,avoided this site like the plague as i sky plusseed em all.Just seen gibbs has quit.
T4E Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Great to see Eli really showing something for the Giants on Sunday. I was in New York at the time (watched it on a big screen in Times Square) and people seem to be swallowing this latest "coming of age" from Archie's other boy. We'll see I guess.
Eddie Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 I placed a bet on them to win the superbowl a bit back and I'm feeling pretty good about it. Obviously it will more than likely be the Patriots, but if they do slip up then I think it will be the Giants.
ABBEY Posted January 9, 2008 Author Posted January 9, 2008 good god imagine the hype and BS if its the two daddy boys...think id watch ice skating
T4E Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Does anyone know of anywhere giving odds on a Brother vs Brother Super Bowl?
grizfoot Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Does anyone know of anywhere giving odds on a Brother vs Brother Super Bowl? I'm guessing you'd get pretty good odds on that, it is a definate possibility though. Here are the odds for the superbowl outright winner anyways: Pats 8/13 Colts 5/1 Cowboys 6/1 Packers 10/1 Jags 14/1 Chargers 14/1 Giants 33/1 Seahawks 33/1
