AlanSheppard Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 That'll be Lance Davids I assume. Good work Alan75 and co on the front page news. Nicely written.

nicko Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 If memory serves, on Radio Rovers last night, they mentioned a South Korean lad and the Eastern European lad as trialists. I think they also mentioned a South African right hand sided midfielder. I expect that these are all the players that have been mentioned on here previously. Bitgaram - the Korean kid - is due in today, so we will see if he turns up. The Bulgarian boy comes at the weekend, but he is also a trialist. The South African will be Lance Davids, but my Swedish mate says [a] he isn't up to it and would not get a work permit.
Mozzer Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Bernard Mendy is attracting interest from Premiership clubs. hes a decent player, and id like him at blackburn.. he would give emerton the competition he needs.. nicko, is it true bruce is listening to offers for jason kamous??
Sandiway Blue Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 hes a decent player, and id like him at blackburn.. he would give emerton the competition he needs.. nicko, is it true bruce is listening to offers for jason kamous?? Hell we ain`t that desperate!
nicko Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I think Wigan might sell him, but I don't see to many buyers at the price - or anyone interested in matching his wages.
waggy Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 i thought sunderlands no11 last night was half decent
Nelsta Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 i thought sunderlands no11 last night was half decent Daryl Murphy. He was good defo stood out for them.
modes98 Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 nicko, is it true bruce is listening to offers for jason kamous?? Going forward he is a quality player and one i have been wanting us to get window after window but having seen him playing for wigan i don't think he would do much for us. On current form he is a slight upgrade from Dunn, but Dunn was amazing early season.
jny Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Nicko is it true this bulgarian kid is the fastest player in the world? thanks
tony gale's mic Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valeri_Domovchiyski he sounds absolutely amazing, i know the bulgarian league isnt the hardest in the world but his scoring record is still impressive at such a young age. In the European Tournaments he has played 19 games and scored 11 goals (7 matches and 4 goals for Champions League and 12 matches and 7 goals for UEFA Cup). if we get him relatively cheaply id be prepared to sell benni for sure, would be a bit of a gamble but benni isnt doing too much these days.
Eddie Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Seriously? You'd sell the second top goalscorer from last seasona and someone who has 7 goals this season (I think), just to take a gamble on a young player who has never played in a very strong league? A player we can probably afford even without the sale and you can add to that the fact that Roberts is both unhappy and likely to leave during the transfer window as well.
nicko Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Nicko is it true this bulgarian kid is the fastest player in the world? thanks I don't know much about the quality of Bulgarian stop watches, so I will pass on that one. I hope the kid is good, but the Rigters experience - when he came with much hype - suggests he will have to be closely studied before the money is spent. If he has pace and can play in the first team the fee is cheap. If he is not then there is little point.
philipl Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 There's a Levski supporter who comes on one of the Boards who doesn't rate Domchevskiya (I know I got that wrong!) and hopes he doesn't come to Rovers as we are his EPL team. He reckons Levski are just trying to cash in on a speedster whilst they think they can.
JAL Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I hope the kid is good, but the Rigters experience - when he came with much hype - suggests he will have to be closely studied before the money is spent. I Does this mean theres an open admission the Hughes made a mistake in signing Righters, nicko.
nicko Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Does this mean theres an open admission the Hughes made a mistake in signing Righters, nicko. Four minutes of Premier League action would suggest he has not lived up to expectations...
LeftWinger Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Four minutes of Premier League action would suggest he has not lived up to expectations... Is Rigters injured? If not - what are his chances of playing against Coventry? If Derbs, Cruz and Roberts are unavailable for selection for one reason or another - it's either going to be one of three options: 1) Re-call Gallagher 2) Play Bentley in the hole 3) Play Rigters If Rigters is fit and can't get a game now - he really must be a dud.
92er Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I Think Hughes got mixed up with Babbel It was quite a good movie.
ffan Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 It was quite a good movie. Fulham in for Jan Koller, loan deal.
G Somerset Rover Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I Think Hughes got mixed up with Babbel According to Mark Lawrensen's 'Dutch source' when we signed him, we were actually supposed to be getting the better player!!?
Rover 'til I die Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I Think Hughes got mixed up with Babbel Nah it's because he has excellent potential on Pro Evo. Trust me Konami know what they're talking about, he's gonna be awesome come 2012
Tim Southampton Rover Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Football Manager would say otherwise. I guess we have to wait another 4 years to find out...
LeChuck Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Would someone please kindly tell me who this conversation is about...I assumed Markus Babbel until I started reading about potential.
