artemorethanlabore Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Seems it happened the 17th of december - would you be 217.41.21.49?
modes98 Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I think now is the time for a little confession. When we were first linked with him - I edited his Wikipedia page. The 100m thing was all my doing. I was seeing if it would appear anywhere - like it has in this MSN article. Classic He had better be pacey, he doesn't seem to have alot else going for him, apart from his goal scoring record.
gazsimm Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Nicko is quiet today!!! This is the 1st time under Hughes i am starting to worry, i really do hope he brings in a quality midfielder now because at the moment with just Tugay in CM, we are going to struggle against most teams
nicko Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 There may some Roberts update later...give it time. Sav is talking personal terms with Derby but is almost certain to sign. I think they have made some interesting recruits so far in this window. No news on incomings, but there better be. Working on some surprise team news too.

nicko Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 is the suprise team news going to be Brown in net, with Brad up front against Bolton Who told you?
Mozzer Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 maybe someone from the youth or reserve team is getting promoted to first team..maybe because that young german defender has complained he will get his chance???
Nelsta Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Fulham are close to signing Boumsong...CC Championship awaits.
ace Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Sparky getting his boots back on Nah..let's not be ridiculous..The whole team has been dropped and replaced by an eleven from the Academy.
Fife Rover Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 tbh I never saw him play for Gala either. So was probably wrong of me stating it like that, but I know from seeing him playing for Turkey when he was younger that he was more of a dynamic midfielder, getting in the opposition box with lots of runs. And if you look up on youtube on videos of Tugay, almost all his goals for Gala comes from deep runs into the opposition box. Thats how I came to that conclusion that he played his game like that for Gala. I wasn't going to bother, but What the hell? just for sake of completeness: Tugay often did run forward holding the ball and beat a man or two on the way whilst he was at Ibrox. But then all you lot are going to say " That was only Scottish football, and therefore of no significance" aren't you?

Fife Rover Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Bah. I take it he's the first white man ever to clock under 10s anyway. I smell agent's hype. edit: or brfcs.com mischief! Next unknown player we're linked with, I'm going to make him a judo blackbelt. Now there's a skill that will be REALLY useful on the football pitch; guaranteed to get you red carded in one every time.
Fife Rover Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Lets put it this way - I just hope we don't sign him based on the Wikipedia article I think you should E-mail your confession to MH immediately!
nicko Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Just found out that Arsenal want £6 million for Diarra and there is already a queue forming for him. It sounds a bit rich for Blackburn tastes. He is a good player and wants out because he fears losing his French Euro 2008 finals squad place. Would be good, but very pricey.

DanLad Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 That was only Scottish football, and therefore of no significance Second time I've spat my brew out because of this site today!
Ricky Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I'm guessing Diarra didnt go to Arsenal for anything like that fee. Unfortunately soccerbase doesnt have a transfer fee for him. Makes you wonder how Arsenal can demand such a huge fee for a fringe player. I wonder if Arsene still wants Gamst???
nicko Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Interesting and surprising news... Rovers did ask about Cisse on loan at the start of the week. However, like Manchester City found out today, Marseille will only sell him and the fee is a hefty £6 million. It might come up again later in the window, especially if Jason Roberts moves.
