I think Lassana Diarra is about to drop off your radar.

There's been a price agreed with a club - keeping that one for the paper in the morning - and it is a staggering £5.5 million.

I don't believe Rovers would go that far and the loan option is now unlikely.

If he is available for 5.5m and we have that money - I'd say go for it. He's top top quality IMO.

Is he 22? No other players that good at that price.

Thats the reason he's been left out of the squad tonight, always thought he may have been out of our reach financially although a loan till the end of the season would have been nice.

My immediate thought was Newcastle - but would they back Allardyce now?

Spurs are probably more likely - but what about Liverpool? If they lose Mascherano - not being prepared to spend the 17m - he'd be an excellent replacment.

Sorry Bob but we weren't. This is the minute from the August meeting of the Fans' Forum: -

Regarding the issue of management of the club shop, Tom Finn stated that the club had stepped up its attempts to reach a satisfactory solution with SWI.

The club are as keen as fans to get the club shop issue sorted and are doing what they can but are in a difficult legal position. The next Fans' Forum is next Monday and we will be asking for an update again but I'm not hopeful of any positive progress.

That was the statement I was thinking of. Thanks. If you could ask on Monday that would be good.

Cant be centre mids because we wouldnt have let Savage go or we would have delayed Mokos anc departure. but its funny that we were looking the Diarra then.

Cant be the full backs as the is plenty of cover in Khiza and Berner.

Cant be the strikers becase derbs is ok now and we got benni,rigters,gally.

Cant be MGP because he hasent played this season ;)

Cant be Brad because the guys a Honda he just keeps on going what is it now 165 games non stop, even if it was we got penalty hero Brown.

but if we dipped in the market for a player would this mean that bents would go into centre mid and be a tugay bcos imo he sucks at that hes far more effective out wide and we dont need a wet leg in the centre. if we dipped for a winger what would be the use? HED BE A BACK UP BEHIND ENGLANDS NEW NO7!!!!!!!!

Diarra is an absolute snip at £5.5m, I'm amazed Wenger is prepared to sell as he should be pushing Flamini for a place in their team.

Would have been a great signing for us and I have a feeling that the board would have just about been able to stretch to this one, but he was always going to end up at a more glamorous location.

What ever happend to him?

I follow Wigan with the half the family being Wigganers and when he was sold we were all convinced hed be a good players for Man Utd.

Ghaly is a good player shame hes a shitbag though.
