Ricky Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Nope Eddie, think he is number 17 or something, Players were all wearing their squad numbers last night, Nonda had the 9 last year.
herbergeehh Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Ok, ok! I can take a hint; you dont want me to know. Might not be good for my constitution! Paul Scholes, right? Nicky Butt? Steven Sidwell? Neil Lennon?

Saf Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 any transfer news niko, things are looking a little quiet
nicko Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Manchester City want to get an answer from Santa Cruz soon. Best of luck because I hear his father is a nightmare to deal with and he is his 'agent.' That will run and run. I would think Rovers will just watch this one - and see if any others come up in the meantime. It is NOT a crisis unless someone goes like Benni or Jason Roberts.

krislu Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 It is NOT a crisis unless someone goes like Benni or Jason Roberts. Nothing in football is a crisis, but not getting a solid striker in would be a very very big mistake by the club. People seem to think that our strikeforce is good enough just because Roberts scored a few at the end of last season.
Fife Rover Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Eh, what, when? He'sasking "are you the resident ginger?"
RevidgeBlue Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 He'sasking "are you the resident ginger?" Oh. No, is the answer to that one, no matter in what context the phrase is being used! Back on topic please chaps, an excellent thread is being diverted.
Rover 'til I die Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Looks like Nicko was wrong on Jason Brown http://www.newsnow.co.uk/cgi/NGoto/2165385...m_IrTKiZ0047Rac
den Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Looks like Nicko was wrong on Jason Brown http://www.newsnow.co.uk/cgi/NGoto/2165385...m_IrTKiZ0047Rac This suggests otherwise: "We like him but that's probably an agent drumming up some interest," said Taylor.

At the moment we don't have the quality backup to benni, so we need to sign a striker that can compete with a place in the starting line-up
nicko Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 The Jason Brown story was NOT from an agent. I couldn't tell you which one it was meant to be. Nice to hear Palace admit they like him...now let's see if they have any money.
92er Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 http://www.rovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Squ...,,10303,00.html notice on the team squad list no 9 is missing i think something will happen soon.......... Didn't we retire the number when Tommy Briggs moved on?

skiporovers Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Thats last years number list as the new one isnt registered til August and 2 - Lucas, 4 - Todd and 9 - Nonda are no longer Rovers players
pksrover Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Thats last years number list as the new one isnt registered til August and 2 - Lucas, 4 - Todd and 9 - Nonda are no longer Rovers players -Warnock will most likely get number 2, since thats his preferred number. He couldn't pick that number in january cos Neill had played with it in the UEFA cup. -Number 4 will probably be either Samba or Ooijer's. Samba played with no 4 against wrexham didn't he? Did Ooijer play with his number 20? -Number 9, I reckon this one will go to Derbs!
