Give him the job and see how he handles it. Call his bluff.

Exactly what needs to be done, it's the only way to exorcise this demon. If and when he fails then the next manager coming in has a decent chance of being left to get on with the job.

Well many apologies. Has Google made it to Blackburn? I need to know because I'm going to move from London to Blackburn in a fortnight, and if Google doesn't work there I may have to reconsider.

The Romford Recorder is full of Blackburn transfer gems this week, but the top football story involves ... erm ... Romford. Where the refs are as unpopular as they are at Ewood, judging by what their manager has to say ...

I'm a bit puzzled at this talk that Faye can't come because you can't play for three clubs in one season.

A quick check on Jon Stead's record last season shows that he turned out for Sunderland, Derby and Sheffield United - all in the same campaign.

Maybe FIFA should have a look at that one.

didnt they have trouble with masherano though, or was that because he was going on loan?

There was a snag at first but he played for Liverpool in the end. Should not really be a problem.

I think they let Mascherano off because of the contract/ownership dispute.

I thought he was leaving there next month anyway?

Blackwell put in his notice because of the way the administrators were doing business.

Now there is a potential takeover - and a future - and he could have stayed. But he got the bullet about 15 minutes ago.
