Jimmy Jupiter Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Capello supposedly under tax fraud investigation? Any more on this nicko?
Ricky Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 He's the Turkey Coach. also been at AC Milan and Fiorintina His name was put forward by Bobby Robson
brian_gallagher85 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Absolute joke! The poor guy hasn`t been paid in months and this is how they treat him. I actually think it's a great move by Luton, they sae some more money now Blackwell could have waited another week as he knew the deadline was near, his loss.
nicko Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Who the f...is Fatih Terim...? From no-where to second favourite for Newcastle on Betfair...? As far as I know he doesn't speak English.
Ricky Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I'm a bit puzzled at this talk that Faye can't come because you can't play for three clubs in one season. A quick check on Jon Stead's record last season shows that he turned out for Sunderland, Derby and Sheffield United - all in the same campaign. Maybe FIFA should have a look at that one. Nicko I raised this on another thread but dont the rules just apply to being owned by more than two clubs. If he's on loan than surely this isnt a problem. Also is this an FA thing or a Premier League thing. There's a lad at Leeds who has played for 3 clubs already this season. Soccerbase
nicko Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Capello supposedly under tax fraud investigation? Any more on this nicko? I find this hilarious. The FA have been looking round for an agent or manager to crucify for a dodgy deal or two and quite happily see some sweat under their spotlight. Then they bring in an Italian manager who is catching the same attention from his own authorities. Love it.
T4E Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 He's the Turkey Coach. also been at AC Milan and Fiorintina His name was put forward by Bobby Robson He's at 80s on Betfair now.
brian_gallagher85 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 All we need now is El Tel for Ireland and Greame to get the Scots job
brian_gallagher85 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 http://www.eatsleepsport.com/articles/679937.html Balls?

Soccerbase I remeber dispensation for Mascherano when Liverpool signed him... Also, if rules are rules, surely Diarra cant sign for Pompey as he played for Chelsea in the Community Shield against Moan Utd, he's played for Arsenal in a dozen or so matches and now he's agreed to go to Pompey. I know the Shield is a bit of a two-bob comp but it's still a recognised competitive match by our FA. Personally, I wouldnt want to see Faye here anyway. If he cant get into the Charlton side in the Championship, then why would we want him.

b12_simon Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Personally, I wouldnt want to see Faye here anyway. If he cant get into the Charlton side in the Championship, then why would we want him. Samba couldn't get in the Hertha Berlin side. How about giving Faye a chance? (not to single out your post - that's all the people who are down on the idea before he's even signed).
nicko Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 http://www.eatsleepsport.com/articles/679937.html Balls? Agent keen on deal goes public...so that's probably not happening.
Ricky Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Maybe the same reason that we signed Nelsen when Charlton didn't want him after a trial ! and the same reason Samba couldnt get a game at centre half for hertha berlin.
herbergeehh Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Gotta say, Harry Redknapp has done himself good the last few weeks. First, he gets a super-mega-offer from super-giant Newcastle, which he turns down to stay with his club down at the South Coast. Then he signs a fantastic defensive midfielder from Arsenal, and they are just 5 points behind 4th place themselves. Why the hell would he take the Newcastle job?
CAPT KAYOS Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 all i did was say what was on another forum(and its not like its a bad forum), the rovers website forum, and then im told all my 300 posts are a joke..thats quite rude.. i dont even know them papers..all i did was put it across to nicko..sorry if that hurt you so bad for me to check if theres anything in it.. This on the BBC should answer any questions NEW CONTRACT
philipl Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Those sorts of tax investigations are a national sport in Italy. Its a nothing story unless they move it to an actual prosecution but the likelihood of that is minimal.
modes98 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 He's at 80s on Betfair now. The market is still all over the place. Keegan is now favourite again and Hughes has gone back up to 3rd. Shearer's odds should decrease after tonights game and may not go back up if nicko's fans chant theory is to be believed
Manc Rover Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 As far as I know he doesn't speak English. Neither do the Geordies
Esulx Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I appreciate your comments about Nelsen & Samba; the difference with them is that they hadn't already experienced the Premiership. Faye was signed by Pompey in 2003 and made 47 appearances for them; signed by Newcastle in 2005 and made 31 appearances for them; signed for Chalrton in 2006 and made 28 appearances for them. Hardly set the world alight with his 106 Premiership appearances and 1 goal has he!!! I'll give him a chance but I think Sparky could find better out there as his previous track record has suggested. I'm happy to eat the humble pie if he signs and I'm proved wrong.

A quick check on Jon Stead's record last season shows that he turned out for Sunderland, Derby and Sheffield United - all in the same campaign. Maybe FIFA should have a look at that one. Isnt the rule that you cant be transfered between 3 clubs in one season, but you can get away with it if its a loan move? Jon Stead only played for Derby on loan remember.

There's a lad at Leeds who has played for 3 clubs already this season. Soccerbase Wouldn't be the first time the cheating white sh*te have broken the rules... If we did it, we'd probably be deducted points... they'll probably get away with it like they did the time they brought in two more loan players over the limit you're allowed or when they used an ineligble player in a game...
