T4E Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Jeez. Moyes and Kenwright are playing a blinder on this one.

T4E Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Keegan. Just breaking on SSN. These lot truly are muppets.
trs Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I see what your saying with the toon fans reaction tonight, however, I think the man they will be singing for will be Keegan! He is the one who tops the polls in Olivers paper (Newcastle evening chronicle) and if anybody is really worshipped up there it's that fella. Any jobs going Nicko?
brian_gallagher85 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Get in....gives us 6 months grace now ....Shearer will be there in a few months
unleaded Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Nicko I can`t see Wigan going for Kapo now.................They have signed 2 South Americans(1 is a left midfeilder,2nd one is all so a left back)...............................They are also set to sign Erik Edman another left sided player...........This will allow Kevin Kilbane to move forward onto the left wing and they also have Ryan Taylor for that position as Emerton will testify......................All adding upto koumas heading for Ewood?
MarkBRFC Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Very glad that Hughes isnt going there. However i cant believe they have appointed Keegan, everyone connected at that club really are puddled.
nicko Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Any jobs going Nicko? Credit where it's due. Mind you there was a mention of this in the Mirror on Tuesday morning... Wonder where it leaves Shearer? He will be spewing. Keegan is the only boss who won't worry about him in the background. At least Rovers can get on with their lives now.
ffan Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Phew now Blackburn can complete the transfers of Koumas and Faye
revolutionrock! Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Get in , now lets get some quality in the midfield.
nicko Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Just heard a fabulous Newcastle United line...I would normally save it back for the paper, but here goes. Shearer wants the job. Keegan wants the job. However the two legends don't want to work together and would both want to be 'number one.' This is from an excellent source and I can barely type for laughing. The dream ticket does not sound as if it is such a dream after all. Priceless. LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS NOW...
nicko Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Nicko I can`t see Wigan going for Kapo now.................They have signed 2 South Americans(1 is a left midfeilder,2nd one is all so a left back)...............................They are also set to sign Erik Edman another left sided player...........This will allow Kevin Kilbane to move forward onto the left wing and they also have Ryan Taylor for that position as Emerton will testify......................All adding upto koumas heading for Ewood? Wigan still want Kapo. Deffo.
modes98 Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 My apologies. Birmingham have made an offer that does add up to that including bonuses. Very heavy money, but still not enough for Everton. McFadden is ok but that is silly January money! Hibs look to be doing a merry dance with Brum as well. Do you reckon this David Murphy can cut it in the premiership? Good luck to Keegan, he needs it!

Fair dues to Moyes though, he squeezing all the juice and more out of the turnip.
nicko Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Just a thought. Newcastle said they wanted someone who could bring through young players. Didn't Keegan scrap the ressies at Newcastle last time and ditch all of the kids?
T4E Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Do you reckon this David Murphy can cut it in the premiership? Yes. But only at Birmingham's level. He'd be nowhere near the first team at a club the next level up.
philipl Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Just a thought. Newcastle said they wanted someone who could bring through young players. Didn't Keegan scrap the ressies at Newcastle last time and ditch all of the kids? That and a few other mismatches with Mort's job description had me totally writing Keegan off.
trs Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Phew, I was contemplating £20 on Deschamps yesterday! Oh and err Hughes will stay with us at least Talking of betting, go to the betfair forum and have a laugh at the posts leading up to the announcment......priceless!
Dunnfc Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Keegan set up his own acadamy or something up in glasgow, so i think hes making youth a priority now, times have changed since he was last in charge he probably now sees how arsenal, citeh, villa have done it and thought why cant i? Looks like your source paid of Nicko.
CircoWill Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Delighted. Hughes stays and Geordies remain a laughing stock.
