Shame tho really, there must be so much pressure on Hughes to find the next "cheap but solid" player, perhaps the secret is that he (and his team) just pay attention during trials/soucting sessions etc?

apparently with the keegan clear out imminent, emre is going to be surplus to requirements.

I wouldn't mind him playing for us.

BLATANT SUNDAY PEOPLE PLUG ALERT...

May have a decent couple of Rovers items in the papers, young players on their way.

And a Colin Hendry update which is a bit more cheery than first thought.

Plus an absolute mountain of transfer news.

It's the best value on the high street. ;)

Its the 19th today and the transfer window has yielded 30 transfers in (including loans) into Premiership clubs.

Six clubs including Rovers have yet to sign anybody.

The most active are Derby with 5 signings followed by Wigan with 4 and Bolton and Pompey with 3 each. That leaves 15 signings spread around 11 other clubs.

The other clubs might have big transfer budgets but Chelsea's £25m outlay is set against £50m ish spent by all the other clubs.

Only Bolton (Anelka), Rovers (Savage) and Everton (McFadden) have parted company with players who have seen reasonable amounts of first team football this season.

Gray will probably go, but it will be closer to £2 million.

I read Gray no longer wanted to play for our six fingered foes, problems with yer mate adn him nicko??

Clarrots don't seem too happy about Lee as a replacement either.

Steve Bruce is sat behind some mates of mine in one of the Hospitality areas, is he watching Roberts perchance?

Seeing as Wigan play Boro on Wednesday he is more likely to be watching our opponents than us.
