stuwilky Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Sunday, 28 October 2007 Tottenham v Blackburn, 16:00 That would be good..... my birthday trip to London for footy would be back on.
mickygray316 Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 typical! i have the perfect weekend in London sorted out. Spurs Rovers on the Saturday and Giants Dolphins on the Sunday, and sky go and F' it all up
MI ROVER Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Would have thought the Bolton Newcastle game on opening day would be a sure fire bet for tv coverage. Whoever produced this list just has the big four being televised over the opening day weekend can't see arsenal v fulham chelsea v birmingham being as appealing to the tv audience as big sam return to bolton. I will wait for official notification.
brfc fan Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 typical! i have the perfect weekend in London sorted out. Spurs Rovers on the Saturday and Giants Dolphins on the Sunday, and sky go and F' it all up Bloody sky! Never mind micky.
brfc fan Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 They arent officially released until tomorrow ! Yeh, been moved because of Sheffield Utd. v. West Ham thing.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Err, is it just me or are there more matches being televised than Sky have channels? I thought they only used 1 or 2 channels when two or more games were on at the same time?
Biddy Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Err, is it just me or are there more matches being televised than Sky have channels? I thought they only used 1 or 2 channels when two or more games were on at the same time? Out of that list, ignore any game that says 15:00 on a saturday. That gets rid of a few.
Roar of the Rover Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Arsenal at home, late kick off again!, same as last season, wanted something different, happy with the City at home though.
doctorryan Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 The Villa & Arsenal matches could be moved. We have UEFA Cup commitments scheduled for the 16th of August.
Alan75 Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Rumour. Confirmation of sky games wont be available until late Sunday, at the earliest. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the premier league havent been able to process fixture changes I wonder what the Sunday tabloids will make of that.
Craigman Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle2045485.ece Here is a link to the games on Sky and Setanta for the first couple of months. Rovers feature 4 times
cn174 Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 I'm suprised that the Bolton game isn't there...should be the most exciting of the lot really.
Fife Rover Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle2045485.ece Here is a link to the games on Sky and Setanta for the first couple of months. Rovers feature 4 times Aye and 3 of them on Setanta which I dont get, and the only one on Sky Sports which I do get is right at the end of November. I will be cancelling my subs to Sky Sports tomorrow and saving £37pm.
Fife Rover Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Sky fixtures for first few months Out of the 20 clubs in the Prem we are the very last one to get a showing on sky sports (count them and check). And that is only in the very last match on the entire list. Shows how important Sky rate us!!
1864roverite Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 You may not know that Rovers have 3 games on Setanta channels Liverpool at home Chelsea and Everton away all 1715 kick offs
bubblerrovers Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 What a load of lump, does this mean i have too shell out more money for sentana sports?? watch Tim sherwood be the guest every game even tho he hates rovers
Cocker Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 What a load of lump, does this mean i have too shell out more money for sentana sports?? watch Tim sherwood be the guest every game even tho he hates rovers 1st off yes, to get the extra games you will have to subscribe to the Sentana channel. 2nd, Tim Sherwood doesn't hate Blackburn. He had some very good things to say about us in the cup last year and sometimes even said "US" when referring to Rovers (Though I reckon Kevin Gallagher could do a good job at sticking up for us)
1864roverite Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Setanta sports is available for 9.99 per month but it is unclear whether or not this is for the full sports package or whether its a similar system to the ppv channel or sky season ticket.

Its not unclear 1864 - 9.99 for Sky customers for the whole caboodle. Half that if my advice was followed 2 months ago
