Good result from a rusty Rovers side. Sure they didn't play brilliantly but well for their 3rd game. So that's a 2 goal cushion and crucially no injuries.

Great weekend all in all. Is very nice sexy time!

Will Sparky put on a strong squad with a 2 goal cushion or will he not take the risk? personally id be happy if he gave Tugay and Savo a rest and played Dunny and The Axe. Also a run out for Marceo for his home debut may be an option.

I reckon it'll be a weakened squad and a home debut for Maceo exactly as you say. :brfc:

I would like to see Ooijer/ Samba combination in the middle with maybe Zurab at right back and Berner at left back.

Upfront Benni & Rigters

Dunn should also hopefully be given a chance.

Benni seems a bit upset with the crowd after his goal - what was all that about, does anyone know?

I think he must have been getting some stick prior to his goal so he decided to shut them up with a pretty good goal.

I don't see how. The Rovers fans were on the left of the screen but Benni was motioning to people on the stand on the right.

Anyone who went to the game see it differently?

From what i saw the gesture was towards the Vetra fans and all i could hear was the rovers fans cheering and Vetra fans booing benni. Unless im hearing things... :blink:

I would've thought so. From what I saw on Setanta, the Rovers contingent were camped out in the opposite corner, complete with the BRFCS Flag!

Apologies I read it as "It was our own supporters" <_<

No sweat. Looks like one or 2 others got the wrong end of the stick, too. I guess there's such willingness to slate Benni on this board (not from me BTW) that some of us see it where it's not :)
