Roque Santa Cruz Unveiled

At 2.30pm today new signing Roque Santa Cruz was presented to the fans and media at Ewood Park. Around 200 fans gathered in the Jack Walker Stand to see the striker alongside manager Mark Hughes and chairman John Williams.

The Paraguayan star posed for official photos before signing autographs and posing for pictures with supporters. Hughes also met with the fans and even Williams himself found himself penning a few signatures.

The big screen played a reel of clips from his Bayern Munchen days where he seemed to have a good touch and composure in front of goal. Rovers fans will hope that under the guidance of Sparky, Roque can be a big hit in the Premiership in the coming season.
