brfc fan Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Great win for Rovers but I'm very worried about Benni. It doesn't sound good but things can sometimes seem worse than they acually are. Let's hope this was one of those cases. Well done Santa and Derbs. This win was for you Benni, get well soon!

arealbrfcfan Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Can anyone confirm if Benni is ok? Similar thing happened to John Terry last year so im hoping he will be ok. Head injuries always are a big worry though.
Alan75 Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Benni ok travelling back with team. He visited the hospital, but has rejoined the squad for the return journey
brfc fan Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Benni ok travelling back with team. He visited the hospital, but has rejoined the squad for the return journey Thank God for that. We love you Benni!
Finch Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 I know it's pretty meaningless at this stage but we are 3rd (along with Everton)
Alan75 Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Something new for this season - den has all the details on how it will work, but he's travelling back from the game. Vote for todays Rovers Man of the Match
philipl Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Just watched the goals again. Santa Cruz's header is just magnificent in the srength and execution but Bentley's cross is precision perfection. Derb's goal is just sensational- shimmy, made the space and hit it perfectly. Derbyshire is going to be one hell of a player. Glad to hear Benni is fine- no doubt if he did collapse, the concussion rule will keep him out mid-week.

bazza Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 How can I vote for MOM if I haven't been to the match? Voting after watching highlights on match of the day is a bit iffy as well.

yankrover Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Great news about Benni. Let's hope he's back in time to beat Arsenal again. Excellent way start to the season. It may not have been the most complete victory, but an away win is always more than welcome.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 How many Rovers fans yorkblues?....sounded loud on the radio.

1864roverite Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Benni okay Rovers win 2-1 You cant ask more than that on opening day (apart from bumley going bust of course) Hope we can carry it on Thursday. get in there
thenodrog Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 How can I vote for MOM if I haven't been to the match? Voting after watching highlights on match of the day is a bit iffy as well. Obviously it can only be for those that either went to the match or watched on some ayrab TV channel. I did neither so I can have no valid opinion at all.
LeChuck Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Two brilliant goals. Roberts is fourth choice on the evidence of today. I wonder if Fulham are still offering £4 million...
thenodrog Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Benni okay Rovers win 2-1 You cant ask more than that on opening day (apart from bumley going bust of course) West Ham losing at home must have been met with widespread delight. S'funny how in one fell swoop everybody hates em now. Long lasting damage to the club caused by the scheming icelanders imo.
Jan Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Obviously it can only be for those that either went to the match or watched on some ayrab TV channel. I did neither so I can have no valid opinion at all. I watched it legitimately on Ayrab TV. Or at least some of it. I get a vote then- Wheeee
