modes98 Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Dear Dear me. A fantastic start and then into cruise control big time! Axe has been over every inch of the pitch giving his all, whilst MGP looks out of the game with his appalling crosses. Still he'll score a cracker in a minute and i'l forgive him.

Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 I predict a cracking second half. 3-0 to Rovers. We will score on the following minutes: 51 67 82 If we don't then you all owe me £100.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 GOALLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!! BENTLEY on the volley England call up please!!
John Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Bentley with a cracking volley - which hopefully is an early celebration for his England call-up tomorrow.
Rover down South Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Much better start by Rovers!! Come on.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Pedersens playing better in the opening 5 minutes of the 2nd half than the entire first half. Maybe he's happy he got a new hairdryer for his glorious hair....it's called a hairdryer bollocking from Hughesy.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 If Bents doesn't get in the England squad now, he might as well retire from international football
Rover down South Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Are you watching the game McClaren? John Barnes thinks that Bentley should be in the squad tomorrow.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Sack McClaren and bring John Barnes in as manager.
Rover down South Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Sack McClaren and bring John Barnes in as manager. Ha ha, if only, I'm sure he'd do a better job!!
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Good save from Friedel. Shot from outside the box from MyPa. Brad pushed it to the side of the goal and out of danger. Rovers back on the attack. It's just proving that they are still in the game so we shouldn't relax just yet. Another goal and the game will be over though! I'd probably take of Rigters and bring on Matty.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Good freekick from Pedersen. Keeper pushes it around the post. Corner to rovers. Played short...ball played across the box to Tugay who shots straight at the keeper. Good effort!
Rover down South Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Roberts & Rigters been very quiet this half.
Oakland Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Roberts & Rigters been very quiet this half. Bring Matty & Santa in!
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Roberts & Rigters been very quiet this half. I agree! At least in the first half they were missing open goals
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Roberts lets rip!!!!!!!! Everyone can smell it and the crowd go home. Oh and he put one over the bar from 18 yards.
USRoverME Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 At this point, since we'd need to allow 2 without reply to not go on, I'd give Santa the rest, since he's been our main workhorse in the league. Matty could come on, if we think Benni will get the most playing time sunday, which it apeprs he will since he's being fully rested. I'd rather see Olssen get a touch or 2.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Bentley still looking head and shoulders above everyone else. Showing great strength on the ball. Rigters off for Derbyshire. Olsson on for Warnock. Freekick to Rovers, 24 yards out in centre of the goal.
Rover down South Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 Would of liked to see Rigters complete the game as it may be a while before he plays again! Good to see Olsson get a chance at last.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 It's going to be a sad day when Tugay retires. His vision and passing is superb and a delight to watch. If he was 10 years younger he would be one of the best midfielders in the world......and he probably wouldn't be playing for us!

Bet we see Gallacher come on before final whistle.
